Trouble with the [map] tag

Does anyone else get results like this for the map tag? It's starting to get annoying. The maps in the [map] tag thread work for me, but most of the posted ones don't.

Using SeaMonkey with debian/unstable, it should render about the same as Firefox.

First, you didn't close your [status] tag. Second, as best I can tell (the wiki is a little off sometimes) [status] and [time_of_day] are for themes, not events. I think you need to do something like this: In prestart, {VARIABLE time_of_day 0}. At the start of each turn increment time_of_day. Next, ...

Re: Segmentation fault

I changed the unit a bit, and there seem to be no problems arising from it. However, there are still a lot of "error config: something or the other is deprecated" s. These are the ones that apply to my campaign, but these units are not even in the scenario that keeps crashing. I still get...

It also plays well with full screen mode.

Re: {DW_MAP DW8}

It is {DW_MAP DW8} because I have been copying the way everything is spaced and typed in "Legend_Of_Wesmere". It worked for the first 3 scenarios, but not this one. What is a macro? [SNIP] Half of what I do is just retyping the WML of other campaigns and changing what I think I can change...

Re: Format + error message + scenario

Is that better? It still doesn't work. Better? Maybe, but it's still not terribly good. Changing the indentation won't solve the problem, but it'll make it easier for us to read, so maybe we can. I was playing around with grep and wc (that way I don't have to read it), and I couldn't find anything ...

Re: how to replicate the bug

If you can't replicate the bug, go to {your home folder}/.wesnoth/cache, find the 2 Invasion of Arendia things, and delete them from the cache. Then start Wesnoth and do whatever you did before the game crashed. Then you can write the error down. You are using linux, right? I don't know what to do ...

What if, say, a Shaman levels from healing? If it levels to Druid, it will end up healing more than it should. If it levels to Sorceress, it won't heal when it should. I don't understand what you mean. If a shaman is 1xp from leveling and it has 6 wounded units around it, it ends up healing 4hp to ...

hi for the lazy and uncreative ones . Are there any MP finished campaigns right now? Not really, no. MP campaigns are a new feature, so there hasn't been much time to make them. That said, you could try my version of Elf War , which has 10 playable scenarios (which is all of them). I've made some u...

Orcish Assassin (17) Elvish Scout (18) Mage (20) Elvish Fighter (15) Works out to exactly 70gp. I choose assassin for poison and elusivefoot. Elvish scouts are my favorite, with ranged attacks, movement in forests and mountains. They double as fighters/archers in a pinch. I use a mage for magic and ...

Make sure that all your macros have the correct number of parameters, and that there aren't any unmatched quote signs.

You'd indeed need a new "heal" event type to do stuff when healing occurs, with the side turn events being the second best solution. In the side turn event, store all healer units of that side. Then just go through each one of them and check the units adjacent to them to see if they are f...

Are you sure it's called [filter_location]? It does not show any effect if I put this in my abilities.cfg file. And I can't find this tag in the WML documentation. Did you put [filter_location] inside [filter_self]? Check nightstalk in abilities.cfg for an example. I completely forgot about that ab...
