Update! Changes as wanted, except for Full moon mage. They got an ability to increase arcane resistance by 20% at night. Weaken disappears at the end of the turn. I would love a feature like this. Having an easier way to set damage type opens the way for many new abilities. And if it can automatically choose the best type it would make balancing easier. The idea of one more hex of vision is really interesting. I like it although I wouldn't know how to implement it. You just need a vision= tag in the explorers cfg file sprites look good. Don't think I'm gonna replace the mainline dwarves. Might add a Runefighter as alternative lvl2 fighter, but I'm currently quite busy with dardo striker and also not-wesnoth related things

As I have said, if you apply cripple in a unit with only melee range, archers will not get benefit from the defense reduction because it works as an attack special, but there is no attacks added for a range that did not exist. Noticed a bug, when copying some code for my era: Hex uses post advance to remove the curse, so if the defense values of the unit changes they are overwritten by the previous level. Actually basher's criple only works in melee if the unit only has melee attack, meaning that bowmen or other ranged units don't get a benefit at all from this special if the unit doesn't have a ranged attack. You can check EofM to see how hex works, that is a real debuff that lowers terrain defense...
