passive_leader Question

I'm attemtping to create a side 2 leader that simply sits there until your hero moves next to him, at which point they will talk. The problem I am having is that the side 2 leader keeps wandering off. In the side 2 [side] tag I have the following: [ai] passive_leader=yes [/ai] which I think is the c...

I hope you can find a maintainer - if not, there's always the summer. The North Wind is indeed what I am working on, and hopefully there will be a second preview available in a month or so.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Once again I am awed by the generous character of the Wesnoth community. Due to the seasonal nature of my work (I am a teacher) I do not feel that I can adequately maintain the South Guard campaign for the development branch. This has been made most clear by my inability to get...

Are the translators working on the 1.0.2 version or the 1.1.1 version?

Campaign Server: Remote Host Disconnected

The past two days whenever I attempt to access the campaign server from v1.1.1 at either campaigns.wesnoth.org or campaigns.wesnoth.org:15003 I recieve the message: Error: Remote Host Disconnected I can connect to the campaign server just fine running v1.0.2. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? - b.

For some reason I can't get my copy of SVN to committ things - I've tried a couple of times with no luck. It doesn't allow me to enter my username and enters an incorrect one instead, which the server then rejects?

If I zip the campaign and send it to you can you manually committ it?

The author is currently swamped with school related work, but just downloaded 1.1.1, which may rekindle his scenario writing impetus sometime in the next couple of weeks. Honestly, I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of handing the campaign off to someone else to maintain (and update to 1.1 - it's GPL...

These images are most impressive. For the unwashed masses who don't know how to compile the version from SVN, is there a way to download the images to copy into the game? I've visited http://svn.gna.org/svn/wesnoth/trunk/images/attacks/ but they appear to be the old images. Thanks in advance for any...

I'll suggest that AMLAs that strengthen a unit's weaknesses are a bad thing (TM). They will only make the game's units more homogenous. Rather, I'd suggest that AMlAs should give units new tactical strengths. They are especially useful for short-branch units. For example: Longbowman (not Master Bowm...

That sentiment I'd disagree with. The campaign server is the most important way that campaign authors receive feedback about their new work. If buggy campaings were all removed, there would be almost no campaigns there, and the buggy ones would take much longer to reach the point where they can be r...

General bug reports are maddening to developers. What specific scenario and what specific campaign is causing you problems? I know of one bug like this in the South Guard that (I think) only affects 1.1 or 1.02? I'll update the campaign in a couple of weeks when school quiets down a bit.

Most of my campaign special characters have some sort of über-trait. Adds a bit of flavour to the game, I think.
