Temporary bonus

How about instead of a bonus that raises Max HP every 100xp or so the unit receives a bonus to its current HP with no change to it max? This means no uber units because after a few combats or at the end of the level the HP are gone. Regardless of the units current hp it would get +25% to +50% of Max...

They may be, but these "activations" as an idea are very near to the spells forbidden This brainstorming made me think of another activated ability that would not be 'spell like'. Forced march! How often have you wanted to reach 1(or more) spaces further at any cost? Has this been discussed? Forced...

Eastern Invasion. Crossing looks ok

I have arrived at the crossing and undead crossing. My unit list is much more impressive this time with more knight/horsemen(holy), Dragoons, and 2 mages upgraded 1 w and 1r. I just took a quick look at "Crossing" , Try and get Ogers to join, and turn two I 'removed' the Revenant and his bats that I...

A bat with both Drain and Plague, since no attack can have to specials, could only be achieved by (3). Is that a typo? How about for BloodBats and/or regular Bats give them a second attack that is exactly the same as their first one except it is plague instead of drain. That way your normal attack ...

Role Playing

Turin Wrote
I take as many villages as possible. Why?:
I guesss it is a role playing behavior. Perhaps I should be a little more ruthless considering that I need that gold in future scenarios.

Do you take villages from a computer controlled ally?

I was wondering if people take villages from from a computer controlled ally? I try to be honourable with my 'allies' and only take their villages if; 1. I really need it to heal a unit 2. To keep the enemy from getting it 3. It is in line with the advancement of the bulk of my army. I try not to di...

Changed the effect of holy water. Doh!

Indeed it does say "Holy for Life". I think I was so proud that I was playing well and not restoring that I just saw what I expected to see. I read your message and ignored the for Life implications.

I don't think you need to change it. You need more careful players! (me  )

Cheers,

Holy Water?

Turin Wrote The holy waters up to that point are in the northern passage in Escape Tunnel and in the middle of the lake in The Northern Outpost. Have I been missing somthing in the rules, I thought that Holy Water lasted only for the rest of scenario not the rest of the campaign? Thus I thought the ...

Enough turns

Elvish Pillager wrote Turin is too skimpy with his turns IMO. I like the levels that are tight so you can't build up lots of gold and walk through later levels but I don't think there are enough reasonable turns for undead crossing and since no one else has responded (except for EP thanks!) I think ...

Still couldn't finish

I tried this about another 10 times and I got really close once. Sent horseman, knight, and Dragoon around the far side after I lure the Cuttlefish/L2 skelletons to the south. If I finish them quickly I can run everyone accross to join the 3 horsemen on TURN 18/18. To try and finish the Lich in one ...

Eastern Invasion - Undead Crossing

Hi all, The eastern invasion is a great campaign - on medium! Most levels are the correct length as I am never finishing with many turns to spare I thought I was doing well as I have upgraded many units including 6 Shock troops, 1 Dragoon. And I have 2 mages, 1 shock troop, 1 horseman and Gweddey(sp...

Elensfar - Thieves guild choice

Hi, Just took my first shot at Siege at Elensfar. It doesn't look too bad but I lost my first try because on the first "night" I left 2 spaces open where Orcs could reach my almost L3 Konrad and with the night bonus he was dead. I enter the battle with a good range of upgrades and over 500 gol...
