Ok are you say when you try to conect it says contectting to remote host and just stays like that forever.

If so I just cancel it and keep trying to connect till it goes.

For remote host dissconected try in wait for someone to bring the server up

First of all if a unit gets couraging when he or she beats an enemy leader than in MP that would make no sense.

Also it is to similar to leadership. YOu are on the right track for a new abillty but I don't think it is absolutly nessesary for wesnoth.

BUT THAN AGAIN THIS IS JUST MY OPINION

IMO there is no best unit. Every unit has his or her own natural abilltys and they can be all used effectivly. In my case it seems that the AI dosen't use terrain bonunes very well. For instance it puts an alf on grassland instead of a forest.
