Please get the newest version -0.5.1- and test it out (from the beginning).
That's what I did.

Re: Campaign bugs

- Several units had broken image paths - Had to change all "range=short" to "range=melee" and "range=long" to "range=ranged" to get them to fight correctly. - In several scenarios the dwarves were fighting each other. I think there were a few others, can't recall at this point, will post more if I ...

Morphugo -

- the objective is the north edge of the map, not pinnacle rock. Kill off the bandits, then get to the north edge, and you'll be fine.

:) Or rather, :( - the 'causes complete Wesnoth crash' problem I got around the first time with gratuitous hacking (removed the Mermen [!] to allow me to kill off the leader the previous turn, then retroactively deleted the xp gained) but it's now a persistent problem in Saving Thrashan; can't get t...

Downloaded, replaced, restarted Wesnoth just in case, loaded my scenario-start file for Naga Temple (which is where I just noticed the recruitment problem - prior to this I had only been recalling, and I would continue to do so were it not that I knew I should be able to recruit an apprentice [which...

Another need to search-replace: take *out* 'B--Fugitive', replace with Fugitive.

However, I now have a more serious problem: in the middle of saving the nagas, and (repeatably) the game is crashing on me at the end of my T14. No error message - just no Wesnoth any more, which is a first for me!

One suggestion - and I don't know why it worked - but when I saw the postings of the 'can't recruit' problem I replaced Reth's gold line, which was something like {GOLD 200 175 150} with the simple gold=150 because this was the only difference I could see between Reth's setup wml and the previous sc...

The 'win on *fighting* Wolf happened to me also; For once I do have a replay still saved, and can send if you like. Hoaxley's forces behaved oddly, heading north to try to retake villages (?) and eaving him alone on the keep, vulnerable to my troops (especially a rogue) coming up from the south/sout...

Came to post about the 'unknown unit type: Raider' and I see I'm not the first :).

[Also, seemed a bit odd that I could win the caravan scenario by killing Hoaxley without getting the caravan to the marker; if I'd known that, I'd have held off and milked the xp a little more! No big deal, though.]

Alas, the new release is unloadable (too bad, because the images for Reth - I assume? - on the difficulty-choice panel look neat). After that panel, though, it gives you an 'unknown scenario' error; the first time I tried to load it there was a longer error message first, something about missing end...

'Civil War' campaign

I hope I'm not missing the existing thread for this campaign; couldn't find one, so... ...despite the ludicrously poor map drawing :) this was fun; the balance also seemed decent (that is, easy enough on easy but still risk of losing some units you'd rather not; more challening at higher difficulty)...

Unless I'm missing something (quite possible), we need the campaign .cfg file as well as the folder to install this.

More positive feedback. I managed to fail the first scenario on try 1 by not going to the troll hut until it was too late... or so I thought: he would not have had time to gt to the glade, so I quit. When I replayed, I realised that as long as he had been *found* and *any* brotherhood member had mad...

Just following up Gleeson's comments: As it seems with most folks, (i) the Imperial Era was new to me, and (ii) I very much enjoyed the campaign (other than the repetitive end scenario; realistic, yes, but not entertaining :). An echo, though, for an increased turn-limit on getting Caius through to ...

Ringcaat pondered thusly: I'm hoping people with better computers than I have won't have so much trouble with it. Alas, unlikely. I run Wesnoth on a new G5, and it's now taking minutes [/i] to bring up load-game lists - to the point that I switch to something else entirely, then repeat for the actu...
