Re: Problems with Wesnoth for Debian download

Hi again!

Yes - that's what I was thinking, too! I was puzzled as to why there seemed to be no package-list file.

I think I'll try one of the "unofficial" Debian sites - may have more luck there - :-)
Thanks very much for your post!

Re: directory of saved games

Arrgh .. I apologise profusely for leaving out my O/S .... :-)
I'm using Mepis Linux, kernel 2.6.7. So am wondering where the Linux-version game-saves are stored (and their name).

Thanks!

Directory that games are saved in

Hi all - I'm a relative newcomer to Wesnoth - great game, too! I was wondering - when I save a game, which directory is it saved in, and what's the file called? ( The reason I ask is that I want to make sure that saved games are included in my backups ). Many thanks in advance! :-) - mr_moose

Awesome work with release 0.8.8!

Hi all - Just a quick note to the devs to say **great job** with the latest release (0.8.8 ) . I'm running it on WinXP, and I had a problem with the previous release's screen "refresh rate". Anyway, I downloaded 0.8.8 last night, and it works **perfectly!!** **Great work**, all! Oh - just by the way...

Problem with refresh rate (version 0.8.7, WinXP)

Hi all - I downloaded Wesnoth 0.8.7 for Windows. Install was OK, but when I tried to play it (double-clicking on the shortcut), the screen went black and I got an error window saying - "68K - 84 Hz - Frequency is out of range". ( I've posted this bug on the usual bug website) . My monitor refresh ra...

I'm stuck at Elensefar too - arrrrrgh ... :-)

Hi all - I'm a first-timer here, and *very* hooked on Wesnoth! I have *exactly* the same problems as the previous poster. I create heaps of fighters at the start, and that seems to see off the orcish assassins and a few skeletons. But, I **always** end up being outnumbered by the skeletons. I have a...
