Path Error?

I'm a bit of an amateur, but this part looks relevant:

Code: Select all

error display: could not open image ''
I'd also be suspicious of the double slash shown in the middle of 'davidlowe//Library'. The actual path only shows a single slash...

So where do i look to trouble shoot this?

Crash in the Fog

I just picked this campaign up the other day and really enjoy it. I do think that after its done, this should be in the mainline! That being said, i've run into some sort of issue. In Choice in the Fog, when I chose to accept the bandits, Ethiliel and the elves disappear. Urza tells me he will lead ...

Mac Permissions

<snip> Maybe you have a restrictive umask set for the user who unpacked the archive, which could have led to the files being created with overly restrictive permissions? I haven't explicitly touched the umask, indeed i've never heard of it. That's not to say it hasn't been set that way by a securit...

Mac: User Accounts

I don't know if this is a repeatable bug, or just something fishy in my setup: Newer versions of Wesnoth official binary run fine for my administrative account, but won't even start for users in standard accounts. However, the 0.9.2 version [compiled by Penguin] DOES work for these users.

Double Negative

It doesn't work for me on either my iMac [10.2.8] or my PowerBook [10.3.5] - both single processor G4s.

Re: Is this related?

Hi guys, I don't know if this isn't a completely different phenomenon, but I have been getting a curious hiccup where it stops saving games when you finish your turn, and you can't manually save either, and then a unit may become 'invisible', but the AI can see it even if you can't! This usually oc...

The Skull of Agarash

Is there a "reward" for getting the skull in this scenario? I was rather surprised by how quickly it ended, usually i'm running out of time... I headed straight east, as the leader there appeared to be low-hanging fruit. A bit tough, as none of my units have an attack even equal to the damage that h...

Prefs folder?

So just where are the prefs/savefiles to be found on a Mac? I checked the obvious places [home directory, Wesnoth directory, /Library/Application support] but don't see anything. I tried "locate Bay of Pearls", but that turned up only the config files. Anyway, there are 2 computers here, i want to b...

Just open up a save file, and everything you want to change should be fairly obvious. Alternatively, just run the game with the switch --debug, and then you will get a "Create Unit" option in the context menu, which allows you to create any unit anywhere on the map. Personally I don't see how playi...
