Remember that you can also win by removing all elves from west of the river, you don't need to kill the leaders.Ave wrote:Any tips how to win this one? The southern opponent isn't that tough, but the eastern one (Lucile) spawns a lot of opponents. Fightning elves in a forest is not cakewalk :)

When there is a starting gold specified it will be used if you have less gold than that. It is unlikely that by the third scenario on hard level you have more than 100 gold, so you will get 100 gold. Success (at last)
Problem appears to be fixed, by upgrading gcc to 3.3.3. Also appears to avoid the intermittent sound problems, though proving that an intermittent problem is fixed is more difficult. I also upgraded to more recent version of SDL_sound, but that seemed to have no effect. Thanks for the help and advice.
