Re: Wesnoth 1.12.0

I have an account on the bug tracker, but where is the "Report a bug" button? snapshot3.png I appreciated, instead, the idea of putting the turns of time schedule (example: 2/6) Why? I can't tell you why Nobun appreciates the item in question, but I can tell you why I put it in there. In Wesnoth <=...

So, I'd like to humbly request this feature.
Hello Thesleeve,
I knew I had forgotten something...

Please take the time to fill a feature request on http://bugs.wesnoth.org.
That is the best way to ensure it won't get lost again.

Thank you very much for your kind words.

Re: load save games from old versions properly

Yeah, but a lot of BfW has changed in the last three years, so old save files just aren't compatible any more. It is possible to install two versions of Wesnoth if you want to be able to play with the old files using 1.10, and start new campaigns with 1.12. :hmm: We usually try to keep backwards co...

Re: Linux 1.12

The Wesnoth 1.12 Debian (Ubuntu is Debian based) source package is already ready. Rhonda created it some days ago. The process from the creation to the deployment in the ubuntu backports repository usually takes some days. I can confirm that it still has not arrived in the package pool yet. You can ...

Re: Editor help section

You are right. I did the report starting by a wrong assumption. I verified today that I misunderstood something. I thought that, starting from 1.12, the old map format would be changed... no more "usage=map" like today, but only a map tag, that could be used in a scenario. And the editor, in the fu...

Yes.
Once used to it's hard to go without them.

Re: Editor help section

1) can define a side only if you create a scenario and not a map, BUT random map generator works only creating a map and not available when creating scenario. Yes, this sounds like a missing feature. Please report it at http://bugs.wesnoth.org . So... if an user want to manage also "scenario tools"...

In a user choice as talked here or as default game feature.
Yes, that is doable.
But you need to fill out a proper feature request at bugs.wesnoth.org .
