Re: The 'weakest' level 3 units in the game.

Haha, right? I like how the game balances all of the different higher level units. You're right, he does do 48 damage, but only with assistance... Although Highwayman (level 3 thugs) seem to be pretty terrible. Low health, bad defense and resistances, average movement, no ranged. They always die whe...

The 'weakest' level 3 units in the game.

I love looking into statistics about this game. I was investigating the level 3 units with the weakest attacks, and I discovered that everyone does at least 24 damage at level 3. The ones that do exactly 24 are: -Hurricane Drake -Elvish Shyde -Merman Entangler -Assassin Interestingly, these units ar...

Re: New animations

This, and the sylph, and the new TRoW lich sprites are just awesome. So great to see good work coming in!

Re: Dunefolk(previously Khalifate) race description

This conversation has been going on forever, and probably won't stop unless we decide on something. I actually really like skeptical_troll's writeup, and it would give a lot of flexibility to campaigns. I would change 'bustling cities have raised' to 'bustling cities have been raised' or 'bustling c...

Thank you; theses are very helpful suggestions, and I appreciate you sending replays! I'll incorporate this feedback into the next version.

Re: Dunefolk(previously Khalifate) race description

The plains weren’t unoccupied before the Wesnothians come. There were a great deal of Saurians there, as Rise of Wesnoth attests, with a dragon ally the elves hadn’t been able to defeat and Nagas they sold metal to. Even Legend of Wesmere says there was a Saurian Empire at that time. Edit: To be hon...

Re: Dunefolk(previously Khalifate) race description

@Cold Steel: Our world has a civilization consisting of nomadic desert dwellers which have existed for centuries in close proximity to fertile lands without attempting to settle them. From Wikipedia: The Bedouin is a grouping of nomadic Arab peoples who have historically inhabited the desert regions...

Re: Saurian race description

Yeah, the eggs are in LoW and the matriarchal society is in Secrets of the Ancients. The part about men studying magic isn't canon; the word 'male' could be stricken from the description, just saying the many saurians train for combat and magic.

The astrology is also from Secrets of the Ancients.

Re: Saurian race description

Here's my proposal, which relies entirely on canon (except for the words 'always' at the end of paragraph 2 and 'dominated' and 'most' in paragraph 3): Saurians Saurians are an ancient race of lizard-like creatures inhabiting the swamps and marshes of the Great Continent. They are smaller than other...

Re: Saurian race description

I'd help with it, but just like with the Dunefolk, there doesn't seem to be a well-defined process for this. Everyone can just come up with their own (good) ideas, and there's not really anyone to say "Okay, great, this is the one we'll do." Maybe there should be a race-description dictator? It was ...

Re: Saurian race description

Was this description or the wiki description ever added into the main game? I'm not seeing anything in-game for 1.13.11. Wolves and falcons are also missing descriptions.

Xalzar: I started a spreadsheet trying to track people's positions on different concepts: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1a6djv3fVdmhzJU0pYEAVarFE1cF5Ba628GGlIVFIsN0/edit?usp=sharing I lost track on around page 5, where a small number of individuals entered into a lengthy conversation and ma...
