It works if you set the id attribute under [campaign]. It's probably a bug that without the id attribute it showed the description of UtBS instead.

Are you sure that none of the other players had any addons either? Or edited their game data files? If every kill caused OOS someone would have noticed.

Yes, currently the trap doesn't happen if you use the side entrance and doesn't happen if you use the main entrance with a fast unit. I posted a PR for that a few weeks ago: https://github.com/wesnoth/wesnoth/pull/3459

You can do all of these without changing your campaign already. You can use the --campaign-scenario command-line argument to jump to a scenario. In-game you can use :debug followed by :change_level or :kill. Also you can press F5 to reload the configuration without restarting wesnoth.

If you have experience with these things, you could build wesnoth from git yourself. After the first time, subsequent update+builds won't require as much bandwidth.

@someone-else What version of wesnoth? On some versions you win once both Aiglondur and Angarthing have touched the signpost. On newer versions you win when Angarthing is on the signpost and Aiglondur next to him, or vice-versa.
