Feedback from skilled player like you is really very much helpful :D and sorry for bad balance. :cry: Tentatively, I extend the limitation to 255 instead of removing it (to avoid introducing new bugs) and uploaded a new version (0.2.2). (I will remove this limitation when porting to 1.14....

It may not be a bug of wml tags or macros. The error message says the engine is expecting a conditional tag such as [variable] or [have_unit] but not provided. I suppose you misplaced [set_variable] tag (or {VARIABLE} macro) after [if] or [while]. Otherwise, it might be a bug. You should provide mor...

Sorry for the sequential post. Someone not me in the japanese community found a bug on 1.2.7. In scenario 2, enemy leader type "Dark Adept2" (easy or normal difficulty) no longer exists in the current version. It causes a crash.
