Why don't we just change the engine to expire objects for units on the recall list just as it does for units on the map?
yes that's what i'd have suggested aswell.

Re: World Conquest II

It's not like i have an something like official voting system, and honestly i currenly don't know how it'd do it since i don't really keep track of good players and i assume most of them have multiple accounts, but if you suggest something concrete and maybe get maybe two other people to approve it ...

Re: World Conquest II

Uploaded this to the 1.15 addon server, Its a bit broken though because of the dunefolk rework in 1.15 . But ghype offered some help with that. The version on 1.15 also tries to make the map generators a bit more effective. Also you can use the map generators in the editor now. Some heroes could use...

Re: Creating Campaign On Non Rooted Android Device

Writing code ( which is what you must do you in order to create a campaign) is usually an annoying thing to do on any mobile device whether rooted or not, even if you somehow attach a real keyboard to your phone probably won't work well because if the display size. So to.answwe your question: while ...

Re: Possible DATAURI bug

That's probably because the china in the datauri is interpreted at a ipf argument separator, one might call this a bug but even if I'd be low.priority since datauris were mostly invented for pbl files, why don't you just add an image file to your add-on?

Observer can change game state only if it was explicitly coded that way. And then it would almost certainly cause oos.
I don't know of any way how add-ons can allow observers to change the game state.

Re: object duration query

I think also had already problems with the same issue, the problem (for the engine) is that we have some statuses, like poisoned/slowed that we clearly don't want to be cleared on 'unit reset' that are properties of single units and other statuses (unpoisonable, etc, that are often properties of uni...

Re: Possible 'select' event for AI side?

Remember that select events are unsynced so killing a unit from a select event like you wanted at first would have resulted in out of sync errors and corrupted replays anyways.

Maybe you loaded a saved game that was made before the game was updated? The changes only take effect if you restart the scenario.

Re: remove a trait to WML

When you use [trait] in [modify_unit] you should not write [modifications], your code is correct exedct that [remove_object] does not seem to work with traits, you have to use the lua wesnoth.remove_modification, alterntiveley you can define your own wml tag that removes traits.

Re: remove a trait to WML

> There is a LUA function doing that ? Yes but actually [remove_object] might also be able to remove traits, did you try it? like for example [remove_object] object_id="loyal" to remove the loyal trait. Otherwise you can always use the wesnoth.remove_modification lua function. > like resetting compl...

Re: The Altaz Mariners (2p non-linear pirate campaign)

@darkhorse Most of your first part can be summarized as 'too easy' and while it was also a rather easy campaign to beat for me. Most people that I observed on the official mp server had quite some problems beating it and even had to reload even the encounters quite a few times or could not beat them...
