Re: Nightmares

Since the purpose is a portrait, the creature is supposed to "talk to something" so the heads both should be checking in the same direction. Not nessecarily, since it only needs to be using one pair of eyes and one mouth. If you had two sets of eyes, wouldn't you be watching your back with one of t...

Re: Nightmares

C, F, and B all look good to me. The fin-like things on the tails of D make it look more like it should belong in the water to me.

Oh, 4 and 6 look best for the level 1 to me.

Re: regarding donation links for music composers

if you open the ogg files in certain programs (freac for instance) you can see the name of the composer. If you desire to donate money to them, you can contact them via PM.

I'm not trying to say a donation button would be bad though...

Re: Wesnoth movie plan

purposeful innuendo (by the writer, not the character) appeals to adults and teens I would disagree about putting that in, but lets put that aside, shall we? And a Wesnoth Comedy might work, though I still think a more LotR style would fit better. (no, I don't think it should be LotR, or a facsimil...

I will agree with yuo there. (I personally think that the NR plot might make a good movie though)

Re: Wesnoth movie plan

@Hulavuta, movies with low plot content full of fighting are actually surprisingly popular. (though I agree with you) 1. Chronological, with a possible few glimpses into the future, or into the past. 2. Well, it'd follow NR's storyline, so that kinda answers itself. 3. A saga, definitely. 4. A good ...

Re: What do you find to be the worst unit in the default era

In wesnoth the worst unit is a matter of circumstance. Adepts are horrible against ulfs, and bats should never lead a charge against mages. Just keep in mind what is good against what, and you should never have a worst unit. Actually, regardless of how good each unit is, there will always be a 'wor...

Re: What do you find to be the worst unit in the default era

Anyhow, to get back on topic, I've found the Skeleton Archer to be a little useless to me. Yes, he has his uses, but I generally find the DA better.

Re: What do you find to be the worst unit in the default era

@Mint: I only really find the Lieutenant good in maps with extra castles on the map. That way my leader can be in the fight and still recruit. (often in the same turn, since he loses no movement points for using leadership)

Other than that, I agree with you on the Red Mage as the best choice.

1, 6, and 10 look good to me, 6 being the best. (barely)

C, O, and E are my personal favorites for the higher levels. (O being the best)

Remember, I'm not an artist.

Re: Ruin A Wish: Short stories

I wish you will not end up like this somber and tragic way Granted. In order to grant this wish, I go back in time and kill you so that you never ruined his wish. You are now dead. But 8680 has a good life, right? Not really, since you only specified that he wouldn't end up like this . So, somebody...

I second everything Boucman said. (I'm not an artist either though)

And I have to say, that movement looks great. I'm not going to comment on how well you did it, as I'm no artist, but I like the concept. :D

Re: B.U.R.S. (Bizarre and Unusual Recruit Styles)

I did that game in my 1-2 minute breaks, so I couldn't really do that against a human.
Is there any way for drakes to win with BURS simply by swarming gliders against loyalists?
I tried it versus the AI. It's doable. Again, I'd like to try, or see somebody try, this versus a human.
