Update on this. I completed the non-mainline campaign called "Unite The Clans" and the wreath stayed around the campaign icon, even after rebooting my machine completely. I am pretty sure this kind of bug is most likely not noticed during development. Wreathes do work for me, but I'm using Linux, which could make a difference. The wreaths are configured in the preferences file. Do other preferences like acceleration and sound settings stay the same between sessions?...

In "The Final Battle", one of my two heroes (red) cannot recall OR recruit any troops at all. In addition,
all of the trolls are absent (cannot be recalled/recruited).

As of release 1.11.7, The Sojournings of Grog will no longer load. I am using the Windows version. I'm not positive it wasn't something that was introduced earlier than 1.11.7, as I jumped from about 1.10.5 up to 1.11.7.

Hi Woodruff, I sent you a PM with a replay in it after your previous post. Did you not get that? I don't want to post that here because there was a bug with replays at the time and I had to cheat to make it work (the replay, not the way how I played the scenario), so some things aren't quite right....

Yes, the "queen" and the "bodyguard" (sorry, I don't have their names handy) were able to move to the western signpost and escape, and then the "hero" was able to hold out the requisite timeframe (3 more turns, if I remember correctly).
