I think that the difference of cost is too big, Trolls need also less experience to advance than Woses, at night they can be fearsome, and they can be hard to kill even at day especially if they are on a good terrain, its like an unit with lot of hp in a villagge with the difference that he can go e...

I was wondering if diminishing the troll's regeneration to 4 would unbalance the faction, the same for the wose, maybe the troll's regeneration can be 4 when he is young and increase to 8 when he is adult (lv.2 in Wesnoth terms). And what about lowering the damage caused by poison from 8 to 4 at lea...

I wonder how complicated it will be, I mean will it need a so drastical gameplay change ?
It will just be an extra option, usually a 2p map objective is to kill the enemy leader, instead of that I would also like the option to have as objective to kill all the enemy units.

Yeah, it can be. It's probably made up for in a different area. For instance, the loyalists have the most weapon specials & abilities iirc. First strike for Spearman, charge for Horseman, magical attack for Mage and skirmisher for Fencer. That's a slight advantage balancing out a tiny disadvantage....

Anyway I wonder how a more armoured dwarf increases doging instead of decreasing it, ok maybe decreasing it its too much, but keepeing the same defence would not be a so big underpowerment.

Now that I think of it, yes maybe for game balance its better that they remain on impact dammage, cavalry is great to kill them, because they have impact resistence. Well, griffins use nails and in fact they have a blade attack type, but its also true that the zombies are the undead's unit with the highest impact, but I don't think that changing the type would affect much the game balance, undeads have already the adepts that are great at killing heavy infantry ...
