Re: [engine] F5 reload scenario after clearing cache

I just want to say that the default reload cache button on Mac is not F5, but Ctrl-F5. Because F5 is for something entirely different on Mac. Do keep that in mind. I'd vote for :debug Shift-F5. Well, you can have "plain" F5 (i.e. not the keyboard light control) by fn+F5... Actually, if you have you...

What are examples of other map "masks" in Wesnoth? What are their usual uses?

Re: building a campaign - "A Second Front"

Look, as a backup, you could just have the gate open by itself after a reasonably high number of turns. Thus warranting in 99% of the times that it will be opened by your heroine's use of magic (thus giving a nicer cause-effect feeling for the player), but having a fallback for the unlikely event th...

Re: Dead Great Tree (split from Terrain Info & Links)

Eleazar, as I wrote on homonculus' topic, I think his trees do not look dead, but simply leafless (as in winter, without snow)... but this tree should be evergreen, so it does not make sense for me. I'd really like to see the two concepts (detail of homonculus, brances and colour of this thread) com...

Re: building a campaign - "A Second Front"

I love your ambitious project! The branching gives it a "full control" flavour! But let me ask: 06 "Flight Across the Moors" : Ildriel and Galbarond and whatever forces they have from 05 flee across the moors. They become surrounded and take refuge on a hill with a circle of standing stones on it. I...

Re: homunculus's two pixels

Someone made some _real_ dead great trees: http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=33689

These look really dead, however, they lack the love for detail of your work, which I value so much. Do you think we can match them up? I'd love to see an offspring of these two pieces of art ;-)

Re: Dead Great Tree (split from Terrain Info & Links)

homonculus also has a dead great tree: http://forums.wesnoth.org/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=31323&p=485872&hilit=great+tree#p478431 (and following ones) I like his more for the finer detail, but I like yours more for it's dead looks (his doesn't really look dead for me, just leafless, like in winter... bu...

Re: Wesnoth Eclipse User Made Content Plugin

Hi, tim,

As you're aware of it, I could finally run both standalone and eclipse+plugin versions.
However, I have some more errors concerning the importing of campaigns and add-ons to report. I don't want to bug you with filing even more bugs at Gna! (pun intended). Or shall I go on?

Btw, though I think your tutorial is too much talk and to little "try", I really like the characters unfolding. You're good at writing!

Re: Training with Clea (1.9.5+)

I noticed two things: 1. at some point in scen 2 i think, Clea says "Yu" instead of "You". 2. After you have split the original scenario 1 into two scenarios, you did not move the explanation of the "linger mode" to the end of the new 1st scenario. As by the time the user has already experienced it,...

Re: Wesnoth Eclipse User Made Content Plugin

Just a few days ago, just before 1.0.2 was out, I d/l-ed the standalone 1.0.1, but that did not work either*, that's why I gave a try to the eclipse classic + plugin. *) The splash-screen came, but after that nothing. There wasn't even a process (neither in Mac OS's equivalent of Win Task Manager, n...

Hi, I have just installed the plugin (v1.0.2, on my Mac), but the Wesnoth menu nevertheless does not appear in my Eclipse.

Any ideas?
