Re: Great Tree Contest :)

Having a different angle can be a deliberate choice to make it stand out -> similarly to the units (even though this is scenery).

Re: building a campaign - "A Second Front"

You said, this is for 1.8, not for 1.9?

Re: progressive "x" and "y"

I checked yesterday, but damn! I looked at the verbose description, which mentions progressivity for submerge or alpha, but not for x and y...

Of course, you're right, in the syntax summary it says <progressive int>.

Sorry!

progressive "x" and "y"

Hi,

I think making AnimationWML's "x" and "y" offset parameters progressive (like e.g. submerge) could make some nice effects (easier). -- now you've got to code potentially many frames for a simple rocking.

Re: Brent (0.1.7) – for 1.9 - BUG

Hi, starting the version from github today, I immediately got errors, and could not play As Brynne: Macro/file BRYNNE_AMLA_DRAIN is missing --> game does not load As Brent: lua error: bad argument #1 to 'dofile' (etc.) and WML error: [quest] not supported As Brent, after one turn I'm "defeated". The...

Macro description/definition

Hi, I saw someone in this forums the macro {ENDLEVEL_CONTINUE} mentioned (and I figured by its name it might be something I need), however, I could not find it either on Wiki, nor in the core/macros directory. Is that some UMC macro, or did I miss something?

Re: Submerge anim buggy in BfW 1.9.5

Thank you very much for picking this up as a bug, and thanks for the efforts made to fix it! If I re-download the 1.9.5 devel version, will that be in there, or do I have to go via svn+build myself? (I haven't done that in years, and I don't think I'll go there now, lack of time to figure it all out...

Re: Zero's Distinct Lack of Art Posts Until Now... Remedied

Making it available for others to use was pretty much the reason I posted the horse by itself in the first place. Sleepwalker, I've scanned several of your posts, but I could only find the new horseman in whole. Where did you post your bare horse? (I'm planning an UMC rider character, and I'd rathe...

Re: Great Tree Contest :)

A dead tree usually gets more _pale_ (whitish)* than blackish in nature**, compared to a tree having its winter nap. Also, with time it looses its fine twigs and branches. I'll put a reference to the two other dead tree topics (I know) here too: ff. homonculus et al. gleedads etc. *) Dead tree examp...

Level up to... same level?

Is it possible to specify as a level-up-advancement a unit type of the same level? I'm thinking of one unit line in a faction (allrounder), where you could chose at an advancement to proceed on that unit line (and get the next higher level) or switch specialization (to fighter or archer), but the sa...
