Ah yeah, I'd forgotten about him. The orcish slayer is not a worthy leader, so I'll keep the Ixthala demon anyway

Re: PYRA Mettle, Insecurity, Despair - III. PYRAMID Tourname

Unhelpful time zone? No problemo, I'm feeling bold!

With all of those revealed leaders, the honourable thing to do is to post mine too ;)

1) Elvish Marksman
2) Desert Marksman
3) Ixthala Demon (The third marksman is the Masked Thunderguard, but unfortunately is PYRA Ultimate exclusive)

Re: Important announcement regarding reporting bugs

Does this mean that some of the bug reports were lost and thus could be forgotten/missed?

Re: Ladder Council

So basically, Rime Grotto started as a revival of Blacksmoke Crater, and is still very much incomplete. The process I was following was basically to chuck stuff in that was somewhat unique to the map. If it worked, it was kept and if not, it was dropped. That's how the ice and controversial village ...

Re: abstract symmetry in strategy games

Believe it or not, many (most?) of the players who have made 1v1 or 2v2 maps in the past few years have striven to make totally symmetrical maps. I definitely prefer asymmetrical maps.

It's also worth noting that on totally symmetrical 1v1 maps, most of the time p1 an advantage since p1 moves first.

Re: Give us an option to disable the "enemy unit sighted" ev

Normally you can just press T to continue as the text alert says, but it sounds like there is no equivalent in the Android version. I don't know about others but most of the time I don't have my non-mouse hand on the keyboard while playing the desktop version. For me it's more convenient to simply ...

For a longer campaign which has a story I recommend The Haunted Woods.

Re: Ladder Council

A classic map has seen some changes which shall be finalised some time soon, this time Fallenstar Lake. The main focus of the changes were to make the map less campy (200+ gold banking is not unheard of), as well as reducing what is so much of the time a death sentence for the one who attacks first....

Re: Ladder Council

@ eagle_11 The reason for those mushrooms in the central region of the map were to weaken the cavalrymen and horsemen of the loyalists, as well as to give a boost to skeletons. The speed and power of the horsemen and cavalrymen on this map is quite impressive, and the undead have trouble since they'...

Re: [POLL] Removing planning mode

Planning mode is rather broken when attack rounds begin, however it is very useful for planning efficient village grabbing, it speeds up the first couple of turns since players can move somewhat simultaneously, and you can find out if you're rebels or loyalists before it's your turn if you random a ...

Re: Ladder Council

With Sandbox Map Picker, I noticed that Rime Grotto and Hellhole isn't in any set. And Cynsaun Battlefield is in both 'Adventurous & Conservative' and 'Museum' Also that 'random start time' isn't checked by default. Are these intentional? Hi, sorry it took so long for a reply, I thought I had repli...

Re: disscusion about 1.12 mushroom terrain

Orcfoot: Mushroom hills: 40% -> 50%! This is ignored by all of the change lists. It would make zero sense to say dwarves are weak on mushrooms as it is 10% better for them than flat. Creating exceptions everywhere is not nearly as simple to remember as the blanket override that mushroom currently ha...
