Re: [interface] Screen dragging

You know you can navigate the map by simply putting your mouse at the window borders, right? I find that much more convenient than click-and-drag.

Re: Victory when killing specific leaders

[store_unit_type] only takes type= as an argument, no [filter]. If you want to use a filter like that, just use[store_unit].

Re: [solved] Letting user choose a persistent weapon

Code: Select all

 [item]
      x=$x1
      y=$x1
That second $x1 should probably be $y1.

Gambit, your craziness never fails to amaze me :P
Also, I only realized just now your tie usually has the same color as your forum name, I guess I'm Captain Oblivious or something

Put parantheses or quotes around it.

Re: About terrain code.

It's probably because you store the location in the variable "stored_location" and then check the value of "stored_location_[b]terrain[/b]". Also the [unstore_location] tag doesn't exist.

Re: Snowstorm

I also think the code in the [command] can be cut down a lot, which makes it a lot more readable and less error-prone and redundant. I also used [filter_location] instead of [show_if][have_unit], but that's not important because both ways are possible. I tested this, it works. [set_menu_item] id=oes...

Re: Snowstorm

[have_unit] ability=oesnowstormfake side_number=$side_number [filter_adjacent] x,y=$x1,$y1 [/filter_adjacent] [/have_unit] It should probably be [filter_location][filter_adjacent_location] instead of [filter_adjacent] , because otherwise there needs to be a unit on the hex where snow should be summ...

Re: Pokémon

I have admittedly only ever played Diamond and White, because I got into the franchise pretty late (and I only did because everybody in school talked about it). However, I got hooked quickly, at first because "awesome I can catch cool things", then "cool it's also a strategy game in a way", and some...

Re: Always "night" tile? (for caves)

Yes, that would be possible too. However, it only works if [time_area] is in an [event] (e.g. prestart).
The location filter should be terrain=U*, because all cave terrain codes start with U.

Re: Always "night" tile? (for caves)

You need to do it in WML, use the [time_area] tag. You also don't need to set each tile individually, because the Standard Location Filter supports ranges like x=1-45 . Also does this + illuminate cause "neutral" or "day"? Since "Underground" is basically the same as night, with illumination you'd g...

Re: "The fellowship of the Clay" Humans gaining ground stor

Thanks! :D
Also thanks for the typo list, they will be fixed soon.
Played it till scenario 6 where it repeatedly crashed at the end (Wesnot 1.11),
Could you elaborate on how it crashes, what error messages are shown?

Re: Development: Scarlet Sea [campaign]

Here they are. They might be a bit outdated, because I didn't want to overwrite possible modifications I did to them to ease testing.
