I'm not sure.
Maybe it can't find the macro {weapon_special_charge} even though that is a mainline ability?
I can't see anything wrong with this code really, but I am relatively new at WML.

Wasn't sure if items could be placed during the prestart, seeing as there is no map yet to place them on. Or is that preload I am thinking of? In any case I will try it. Also the BOB_PLACE_MATERIAL MATERIAL X Y is a macro defined in Bob's rpg era. I am not sure where he keeps the definition of that ...

After your _main.cfg you should make a scenarios folder. In it you should make your first scenario file. There are so many tags that do so many different things that I could not list them all. Yep, that's the problem. Put one after the last of the terrain code.
(or else the terrain code won't be included in the map_data= )

It is definitely wml bloating, but I tried to write as little code as possible. How do I reduce lag at the beginning of scenerio.

When my scenario is loaded it goes to the [story] bit like normal. After the story though there is a huge loading delay before the first turn. Yes, you need a main. However, it does not need to be named main_.cfg It sounds like up until now your map file has served as your Main (which is fine I believe).
