Re: Drake Society

I would think drake society be similar to orcs (whitout the assassins). A strong warrior is in charge. However drakes are much more unlikely to plot against their leader. Idea about drakes worshipping dragons sound possible. Afterall dragons might appear to drakes as "superhuman" (superdra...

Re: Countries background images on maps similar as in Risk?

You could take a look at To lands unkown -campaign files. It has some big images used as terrain. Maybe you could rather easily adapt it to your own needs. ( You can see good example of what I mean in the first scenario already)

Re: Separate MP from SP

Are you suggesting that usermade units will be used in mainline campaings? If so atleast UtBS already does so. I think mainline campaigns should anyway consist of mainline units that are balanced and have good quality portraits and animations. Afterall mainline campaigns are propably first ones new ...

Re: [mainline] Orcs race trait

Since dwarfs have hp regen trait and +hp and +melee damage ones already excist what trait would you suggest? Only thing I can think of is some sort of +% damage during night. It should be something small. Tought Im not sure if this is a good idea.

Re: To Lands Unknown v1.7.0 with 3D rendered maps!

I suppose there is some problem when watching statistics. Im on 6th scenario now and it says I have +93% damage inflicted. I don't think I have been very lucky.( And havn't done saveloading either.) Statistics say: 5662/2933.6

Re: Interesting scenarios

If you are going to do dungeon scenarios. I suggest using Shadowmaster's method. You could only recruit during the first turn. Now you can balance the dungeon better and the player doesn't have to guess how many units he recruits. Its very frustrating to understand after 50-turn dungeon that you act...

Re: How autonomous/intelligent are individual undead?

I think lich may transfer control of his undead to one of their minions to lead. Also I think during the raising of undead lich takes the mind under of his subject under his control. Less skilled lich or more powerfull invidual raised may lead to lich being unable to completly subjugate his minion. ...

One scenario on IftU features only walking corpses and dwarven berserkers as recruits. Thats pretty spammy.
