Re: Rebellion in the North:SP Campaign feedback and reviews

My goodness  , everytime I introduce corrections the number of bugs goes on increasing! Only 2 scenarios and about 20 errors! Well, give me some time and I will correct them. Anyway, thanks for reporting. :)

Re: Help with WML for a particular scenario

I solved that myself in a little different way using the following code. [store_unit] [filter] type=Horseman, Knight, Lancer, Paladin, Grand Knight [/filter] kill=no variable=horse_store [/store_unit] {FOREACH horse_store d} [modify_unit] [filter] id=$horse_store[$d].id [/filter] {HORSE_MOUNTAIN_ENA...

Re: Help with WML for a particular scenario

Hi, [have_unit] side=1 x,y=$barrack_locations.x,$barrack_locations.y [/have_unit] This code works not because 'barrack_locations' is an array and contains more than one value. To fetch all values in it against x,y, you could write: [have_unit] side=1 [filter_location] find_in=barracks_locations [/f...

Re: Help with WML for a particular scenario

There is another point where I am facing problems. I have created an unit named "barrack". It cannot move on its own but spawns units whenever an enemy unit moves within 4 hexes of it. I use the following code: [event] name=side 2 turn refresh first_time_only=no [store_locations] terrain=Gg^Efm vari...

Re: Help with WML for a particular scenario

There is a matter on which I need a little guidance. Suppose in a scenario I want to give the horse based units (humans) the ability to move and fight on mountains. I use the following code for the object. #define HORSE_MOUNTAIN_ENABLE [object] id=special boots description= _ "The special boots enab...

Re: Help with WML for a particular scenario

Thanks for your help. :) All this time I was trying to find a way to bypass the situation that creates the problem and have found a suitable one (by creating a dummy unit when the player side leader dies but player is not to be declared defeated).

Re: Help with WML for a particular scenario

I have uploaded the information contained in the window. Unlike standard wesnoth errors this one appears in the middle of gameplay (not during loading a campaign or scenario). The last line contains the options given by the window (abort, retry & ignore). While pressing abort or ignore the program j...

Re: Help with WML for a particular scenario

I need help for a strange problem that creeps up again and again at the same time. In a scenario of a campaign written by me an error comes at a particular time of gameplay. It says something like: Microsoft visual library error, wml trigger, to know more go to Microsoft visual library C++, to debug...

Re: Help with WML for a particular scenario

I am stuck once again with a problem. There is a situation where a particular unit of the player's side must drop a bomb on any one of a group of pre-designated hexes. To place the bomb I use the following code in the prestart event. #define MENU_DROP_BOMB [set_menu_item] id=drop_bomb_option descrip...

Re: Help with WML for a particular scenario

It seems to me it's very close to the 'carriage moving along a road' feature we discussed earlier. Yeah, it is, but the road is more than a hex wide at some points. I would: 1- disable the canrecruit key of the leader (and set the leader overlay icon), to avoid AI trying to mess into. 2- make it tr...

Re: Help with WML for a particular scenario

This is appearing too complex! :? Isn't there any simpler alternative?
