Back on the idea of a "strangler" unit. I tweaked my old scout cause he had a very vine-like twisty body and came up with this as an extra idea to throw out there.

I also preferred the flower, the big red thing looks like a growth. Even when it is smaller it's pretty silly. If anyone else can do any better then it's an open invitation but i think for now we'll stick to the flower. We could always have a L3 with that thing instead. I like the L2 how it is. Also...

Well, I tried both, TC and no-TC (red). This is the elder cactose with the crown thingo. Personally i liked the idea but when i put it into action it sorta died. I think you're right, i was thinking about changing it but i had no idea what to change it for. Having a little crown would definately make it look more superior-like. Thanks for that. Alrightly then. I've made an attack and defend animation for the Cactose. It uses the same animation for both ranged and melee attacks just like the original Cactose. There's a bit of flickering in the shadow but that's only because the program i used can't do the transparency properly. Hope you all...

While yes that does seem like a possible solution. I personally don't like the idea of adding animals and people to a wose specific faction. It doesn't feel like it fits. But I dunno. Dixie, I like the way you think. =] We'll scrap the idea of an archer as we already have a mage, poison, the shrub plus the Cactose. Also we still have a water unit to talk about which will probably end up having a ranged attack. Problem solved. Discussion still open for suggestions. =] I guess ther...
