I never started it with the shortcut, always from the executable directly. Well, maybe that's your problem. Start the game by using the shortcut and then try changing your language settings again. Thanks for your comments, Chefu. In my work copy I have given the Ranger "ai_special=guardian", so he will no longer steal experience. Okay, first scenario is mostly finished. It still lacks a proper event for the player's defeat, many of the texts could probably use some work, and I need to make sure that the [move_unit_fake] tags work as intended, but the main part of the coding is done. After some more testing I submitted 2 bug reports: 17814 for the wrong unit trait and 17815 for the two events not triggering if you attack an enemy unit.
