Re: Onslaught - Version 1.7.0.

I didn't find scenario 1 (which, if I remember correctly, was one of the subjects of complaint) difficult at all. This is coming from a person who can manage the shorter Easy campaigns and has trouble with Intermediate stuff. My problem is that bad luck strikes at the worst of times; I was on turn 5...

Re: The Vending Machine--a forum game

You get a note that says "Covering what?"

I put in a note asking for more petals.

Re: NEW: Elvish Dynasty RPG

I think that the combat scenarios are way too hard. Part of this is that you can't tell it how much gold to start a scenario with, etc., so after tending to the kingdom you often have much less gold than you would start most scenarios in campaigns with. Another thing is that because of the randomiza...

Actually, that's not true. I've seen at least one UMC that planned to have a "mold" weapon special, which was poison which affected the undead.

You get a misspelled essay in Hamito-Semitic.

I put in Who. He's on first base.

Re: As-yet nonexistent campaign, Lords of the North

Really? I didn't know there was a swamp map in TRoW. Thanks for the advice. EDIT: Two things. 1) Do you mean "A Beach"? If so, actually that seems like it would be better served as scenario 3's map. 2) Errr . . . How would I edit it? I have no idea. EDIT 2: Ah, you probably meant "The River Road." T...

A swamp one, actually. I'm thinking of having a few spokes of land going from place to place, though.

Re: As-yet nonexistent campaign, Lords of the North

Yup. The one by you. It's an old version, but I managed to play through it and found no bugs (as far as I can remember, anyway,) so it should work well enough. In any case, I've changed my model to HttT; I figured a mainline campaign wouldn't have any problems. EDIT: By the way, I've just now finish...

Re: As-yet nonexistent campaign, The Problems of Others

Actually, I'm working from a slightly more complex starting point: The Ice Age. It was the nearest campaign in the add-ons folder to the campaign's original name. It's probably not the best one to start from, but I can check it against others when I get bugs. By the way, I've finally come up with th...

Lords of the North, version 0.0.2 ready! (1.8)

Version 0.0.2 is on the add-ons server and (hopefully) bug-free! There's not much done, but please give feedback.

EDIT: Updated version 0.0.2 is there!

Re: under the buring suns campaing help

Do you have the Dust Devil? If so, allying with the trolls might be a good idea - the dwarves have less that can effectively hurt it. In addition, the trolls have fewer, more powerful attacks, which take advantage of the low defense of elves in cave. Thus, if you pick the dwarves, it'll be harder (I...

321. You wonder how ambushes work in the real world - after all, since the ambushee was moving, it must be his turn! Maybe the ambusher has first strike, but . . . he's not using a spear!
