Re: Zero's art. Gambit has this way of getting me to do art.

Now to frankenstein Skeletal Dragon+Lich+Roy Greenhilt and do a "falling" animation. Oh wait . . . I can't do art. Meh. It was an idea. Anyway, what in the WORLD izzat thing on Roy's head? It can't be an ear, can it? Nah, it's just some sort of weird headphone. Not sure how you'd fix it though. Also...

The proper pronoun is hir. *reveals self as closet OoTS reader*

Actually, when gender is unknown, you use him. Or at least that's what it is if I remember my 8th/9th grade English classes.

Anyway, the Phoenix Feather guy is . . . AWESOME! I love it.

Re: Free sprites

I had the exact same idea a while back, Ellran; it never got past the "idea" phase (not that anything I make is ever likely to; I can't code and can't do art) but I think that it would make a cool era.

Re: artisticdude's art, thorny vines and undersized mages

The sword looks great, I really can't see any problems. Aside from that there's not much else to say, aside from the fact that part of the crest (I think that's what you'd call that) is off-center. The little chevron in the bottom would seem to be a pixel to the (our) left. I also can't really tell ...

Re: Mouse Army

The squirrels are good methinks, with the exception of the aforementioned tails, as is the Badger line - the last 3, that is. The first one looks more like a squirrel mated with a troll whelp. I.e., it needs work. Actually, it might very well do better looking more like the whelp IMHO. Just my two c...

Re: The Warpworld

Umm . . . A little too weird and sci-fi to ever be canon, but since you're probably not aiming for that, an interesting idea.

Re: Hero basics

I typically leave my hero in the castle in a normal game, but in a campaign, where leveling your hero will improve your chances later, I will wait until the battle is well in hand then send him out. Also if the scenario has no time limit, try to find a good defensive position with healing, team the ...

Re: South Guard Fanfic

Honestly? It's pretty good. The articulation could use work, but I like the writing. And don't worry about rambling; you're an amateur there. When I want to ramble, you'll never hear the end of it. ;) Just don't start going off on tangents. That's my department. Anyway, here are some mistakes: First...

Re: Franken-Pack

No, I selected just the background and tried to get rid of it but it remains. However, with tolerance on the Magic Wand (where is this sensitivity you speak of? All I can find is the tolerance) at 75, I can select the object w/o selecting the background as well, though it sometimes takes a couple tr...

Re: Mouse Army

You're right, those other ones look even more Redwall-like. But I think the main reason for that is higher general quality.

Re: Franken-Pack

Ah. Thanks much. Did not think of that.

EDIT: Still not working. What do I have to do to get this accursed program to WORK!? :x

EDIT: Nevermind. Had to set tolerance on the Magic Wand to 75 to get it all (default is 50).

Re: Mouse Army

When I read the title, I immediately thought, "Redwall." This was further reinforced by the fluff and having a Mouse Abbot as a level 3 unit, and even further when you talked about a badger line. I can even identify some of them by name ;). Anyway, on topic, good art. Not mainline quality, but not m...

Re: Franken-Pack

Will the Magic Wand work? I just found out about it by accident and it appears to do what I need. And I don't know how to do either of what you said, and I looked through everything I could find. EDIT: I tried it and it moves most of the thing, but leaves some behind for some reason. Cutting out the...

Re: Franken-Pack

Umm . . . One problem. I am using paint.net. I tried the Franken-Pack just for the fun of it (don't plan to design anything anytime soon) and when I try to put two parts together, they block each other out. Not as in the actual parts blocking each other out, but as in, when I select a part to move i...
