Looks like Midnight_Carnival messed you up. Well, here you go, you get 4chan. Sorry, man. :(

Re: A fire bird

I think that bird is very nice. It is a touch...uh glowy, or almost radioactive... though. But maybe that is what you are going for. If you want a more traditional fire look, maybe lean more towards oranges and reds. But like I said, I think that is pretty good for a first sprite. Better than I coul...

Re: My firs job

That being said, if this sprite is from scratch that is really good for a beginner.

My advice would be to look at the links wayfarer gave you and look at what the other sprite artists have done. Keep up the good work.

Re: Separation of Movement & Line of Sight

I think you may be right. I know TSI and others are feverishly working on the Kalifa. And Chino I am totally on board with changing the line of sight to be different. It seems as though it was done the way it is because it was the easy solution. But thinking realistically, you would expect a unit to...

Re: stone bridge

The current bridge used in caverns already mimics the LOTR bridge, IMO. It looks like it was carved or formed naturally rather than built.
I think they are trying to come up with an alternative style people can also use.

It has actually been discussed before and is being looked at in the Experimental Corner as linked above. :eng:

Not sure if this has been suggested or not, but should probably be in the Ideas forum.

Re: A Hopefully Non-Sexist Survey

I lurked for some time before I decided to register. I decided to register so I could post in one of the Hurt and Heal threads last year. So, I could totally understand waiting for something fun to post in.

Re: A Hopefully Non-Sexist Survey

It's hard to tell if there are females around. It seems apparent there are none that frequent the Off-Topic forum.

I was curious about the picture thread in the Users forum. I did find 6-7 females in there, but none of them have been active since at least 2009 in the forums.

Re: Troll Lobber and Warrior Profiles

Yeah, Valkier, you're right, whilst the blue names can give you good feedback, those four I mentioned above have the power to decide things.

By the way, it seems as though someone was working on trolls. Maybe it was just sprites, though. I can't remember.

Re: Troll Lobber and Warrior Profiles

Peanut gallery reporting in. I think these look fantastic. You will need to wait for the blue names (and Jetrel, thespaceinvader, Lordbob, or Kitty) to wander by to let you know about the potential for mainline. However, even if they shoot that down, I'm sure there will be many UMC authors who would...
