It could very easily be converted to pixelart, though. Cut all the pieces apart, color-reduce them into indexed mode, throw a few saturation and contrast filters, and do a few hand-drawn pixel-tweaks over the top, and then glue all the pieces together, and you'd have a pretty reasonably fitting spri...

My biggest issue is that the sword's angles seem all wrong- like, the blade seems to be /perpendicular/ to the hilt, which itself seems to be somewhat rotated when compared with the handle. Here's a quick doodle to show what I mean:

That is a spine made out of gears. That particular anatomical feature is shared by all of the Lv2 and above units in that line.

My old art shouldn't exactly be held up as an ideal design, and it certainly isn't perfect. Try to strive for a dynamic pose that shows off the human anatomy more- both of the cited examples above are really very boring as far as posture goes.

Maybe it did work in the past, but it's not working in present. Maybe the quality standards weren't so high.
