Re: Forgotten kingdoms (mp scenario)

At the start of the game many OOS errors occur, I guess it's due to the intro skip, but I'm not sure.

Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)

Their cost had been raised from 30 to 35 gold, so it should not be troublesome fighting them now.

Re: Forgotten kingdoms (mp scenario)

I played some games with this scenario, and I noticed that, in my opinion, some items are overpriced, other ones are underpriced, for example Ghoul's Blood (poison, feeding and melee increase) it's too strong for 25 gold, you should split these skills in different items, because the sinergy is too g...

Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)

@ Matt Daka Erm, you are always playing Austrians, don't you? They are not bad! 1) They are cheap, so what's the problem? Cheap= precarious. If you want quality, choose Swedes. 2) It will stay as it is. As my proverb goes: ''We are against unification of the nations''. Try different tactics/ remove...

Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)

Playing Austrians I noticed some things: 1) Austrian Pikeman should have first strike OR 2 weaker attacks than now with the pike OR they should be cheaper, in my opinion, to be really useful against cavalry. 2) Austrians suffer the lack of cheap level 0 units, against Russians in big 1 v 1 maps they...

Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)

Thanks, I downloaded it.
:)
Edit: the OOS issue is still present when playing with other human players against AI (the human had the last EEaW version). :?
If I play alone against AI no OOS at all.

Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)

Sorry but I can't see the 1.4.1 in the 1.8.6 add-on server.
Just 1.4
Maybe you forgot to write the .1?
:hmm:

Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)

Nice news and thanks for the new additions!
P.S.
I played with a friend EEaW against 2 AI in Isar's Cross, I hosted the game and he had a lot of OOS errors. :hmm:
His EEaW and mine were updated.
This happened other times.
Maybe there is a bug creating OOS errors when playing with EEaW against AI.

Re: looking for modern combat eras

Yes, and the Fortress America map/scenario could have victory conditions related to the original game (for example the invaders need to capture 18 american cities in order to win). I know it would be different from the boardgame, but the mod would nonetheless differ from the tabletop game due to the...

Re: looking for modern combat eras

What about creating a suitable map like the Fortress America's one, to be used with Modern Combat Era? I mean a Modern Combat map for 4 players, the American, with the 30 cities and the 3 invaders on the borders, with the nice benefit of using all the various Modern Combat units (more variety, more ...

Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)

Thank you very much, downloading now! :) Edit. I've found a bug: the Pole Chosen Infantryman cannot advance to lev.2, the following message was displayed: "game error: Could not find the unit being advanced to: pl Wybraniecki2" The error is caused by the wrong id: "id=pl Wybraniecki", instead of the...

Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)

Really good news! I love real ranged attacks, some years ago I asked mich (the Ranged Era maker) to create an era with real ranged attacks, the feature I miss most in default BfW game.
If you include it in the EEaW it will be even more amazing!
Thanks!

Re: XVII Century Project : Eastern Europe at War (EEaW)

An alternative idea is to allow an unit of each faction to recruit troops (infantry officer comes to mind).
With some officers across the various cities multiple units could be recruited.
