Re: 10% Resistance is effectively 0% at low levels
Sounds like keeping it simple offers two choices: truncation or rounding. Gamblers might like to put money on the hypothesis that much thought was invested in deciding which of the two to use, so rehashing the precise effects of one compared to the other for various specific units might simply be a ...

Re: Tying it all together
Spinning heads is a spell I've been practising and improving for eons, I'm glad to see it works in this world, as it does in others. What I would really like to do is to fund the development of GNU software, so that it is not necessary to be chronically broke in order to work full time on ...

He probably knows that, and hopes to find such a piece of steel somewhere on a battlefield in the course of levelling up into a horseman. :) Its already been mentioned somewhere that he is a bit overpowered for his cost. He's intended to be a not quite up to military grade par kind of unit, after al...

Re: Castle in mountains/other terrain with >=60% defence
I thought I saw a Water Sprite mentioned very recently? Nixies are simply water sprites. Simply meaning sprites are alike in their relation to their element or whatever. They get water stuff the same way Pixies get air stuff gnomes get earth stuff and, uh, maybe some kind of efrit or some such gets ...

Re: Tying it all together
So far I have not found a whole lot of evidence indicating that Wesnoth is not actually the western portion of the continent of Eos, a region of D'ydii that players never really explored. The general shape of the continent was revealed by the maps made by the cleric Gathb in his historic circumnavig...

Re: Castle in mountains/other terrain with >=60% defence
But if someone does make habitations more flexible about what terrain they are on, it'd be nice to also get deep water ones while we're at it, as that seems to be one of the distinctions between merfolk and nixies: nixies breath water so don't need to live in the shallows where they're vulnerable to...

"We eastern elves elves have never surrendered to anyone." Not even to the department of redundancy department? ;) :lol2: I finished first move then quit game and grabbed the new version, but figured I might as well take a look at it from the start before assuming my end of turn autosave m...

OMG and people thought I was getting a bit complicated already, think of the possibilities! Bwahahahahahah! Awesome, thanks for the info. Hopefully we'll use it as rarely as separation of the saucer section of our flagship, but nice to know its possible.

Re: Telling the AI it will lose if it loses any of units x, y, z
Give each their own team, eh? Interesting idea, thanks! I was already thinking Li'sar should be a side to herself, distinct from the Queen's troops who 'reinforce' her, when the player plays her instead of playing Konrad. I shall meditate/contemplate this notion that she might not be the only possib...

Re: Tying it all together
I'm not sure it is known how anything is spooky. The term was used by one or more of the EPR guys - Einstein, Podolsky, and Rosen; and used in much of the stuff I read about Bell's theorem. J.S. Bell, like J.S.Bach. Action at a distance was considered spooky, likely it is still considered spooky. Bu...

Re: Tying it all together
Okay, 'll retry. You can't play a multiplayer campaign in which two players play different scenarios. Meaning, you're friend would be yourself in this situation. =l Distinguish (multi-player, multiplayer). Two labels, permitting reference to distinct referents. Referent assumed by some readers: a mo...

Re: Where is icon path relative to?
Note that you won't be able to use a custom image for your icon on the add-ons server; the server only has access to standard images. Oh great; the user's confusion as to whether the entry on the add-ons list corresponds to anything they've already installed might end up in some way proportional to...

Re: Multiple "first scenario"s in one campaign
I might not have mentioned previously that Booner's TKC is nowadays associated with TrollKeep (a dot com) instead of with Bilby (the street we live on, formerly also a dot com). In keeping then with the theme of the Keep (We're not in Bilby Keep anymore?!?!?) I figure it might prove more inf...
