In September of this year if all goes according to my plan (apparently it will). Note that this is not Shadowmaster's first adventure through time.

Re: A question for mainline campaign developers and maintain

It would probably be renamed to "Mainline Campaign Discussion". The description would then note that it is for feedback from players as well as development discussion and coordination.

A question for mainline campaign developers and maintainers

Hello everyone. I would like to collect some feedback about the Mainline Campaign Feedback forum. I'd really like your opinions on how useful you find the forum to be. Do you use the forum? How do you feel about the Q&A format? How could it be more helpful? If you don't like the forum and don't use ...

"BAPMA" made my night the other day. :lol2:

And all this art is awesome. :)

Re: I want to Play With Peasants

It's not a campaign, but my GambCiv add-on is practically overflowing with peasants.

Re: The problems I have with Wesnoth

Is it a good idea to still be pushing svn, considering how apparently imminent the switch to git is? SVN is still our official VCS. I don't know how far along the move to git is. I know it's definitely coming, I just haven't been that interested in when. When I've looked at the IRC logs, I've mainl...

Very odd request: "Banana for scale"

I have a rather odd request for you all today, and I know requests are frowned upon, but this is not for an add-on. It is for an idea I had to advertise Wesnoth on another site: http://imgur.com One of their running gags is that whenever someone makes a plea for added attention on a project, or show...

Re: The problems I have with Wesnoth

That's right and perfectly rational, but IMO it is a communication problem and what you say can't solve it. It's the common inside/outside situation: people inside and outside have different points of view. From inside, many things are known and obvious to you, which are hidden to people outside, w...

Re: The problems I have with Wesnoth

I think the path you suggest is very restrictive. Many persons can contribute to Wesnoth in other ways (and first of them, of course, the artists and graphic contributors). Yes, those are other ways. I just don't know anything about them personally and can't give any suggestions. That's right, and ...

Re: The problems I have with Wesnoth

Fun fact: A few high quality add-ons aren't mainlined because their authors want to retain full control and don't want the extra responsibility of needing to maintain such high standards. Why bother when the add-on server is built right into the main menu, giving your add-on a level of exposure only...

Re: The problems I have with Wesnoth

And you, Great_Mage_Atari, are the prime example of how developers are harassed with entitled crap. Serves no purpose... period. It's quite a long walk from "insightful". If I had a mind, I could make some far less shallow criticism of the team. But I'm not so rude and unappreciative as that. Here y...

Re: Battle for Wesnoth now on Desura!

I need to statically link pretty much everything. I had a test build that Desura they never approved, and I just got tired of waiting and tired of nagging them every time I had a new thing to test. Alternatively I have to ship most of the dependencies with it. A less optimal solution... I'll try aga...

Since you have now posted this in the correct place . I'll just lock this thread. Hopefully Kyle can get you an answer, but I wouldn't hold my breath. He hasn't been active or helpful in a long time. You might try contacting Kyle at support@shadowera.com . If that fails, maybe you'll have better luc...

Re: Draw thy sword

Hey guys. Flameslash is making a comic in here. Let's not spam it up with a ton of unrelated images. Also Flameslash, the art workshop is for art for add-ons and such. It's for art for in-game if that makes sense. I could move this to user's forum for you. Alternatively, you could revive the thread ...

Re: GambCiv • A civ-like Wesnoth add-on

A couple balance changes coming to the next version (to be released with Wesnoth 1.11.2): Archery towers now cost no food, and slightly less material. Castles now cost no gold and a tiny bit more material. To make the watchtower upgrade for huts more attractive I have given them a 12-1 lawful pierce...
