Re: Deciduous trees

Hi, Really nice and moreover, better than mine :D I PMed you about what we should do about trees, if you want us to continue both on it, cooperate or compete  , lol, no seriously i would be thankful if you could tell me what you plan to do. Since i'm busy with homework right now and since m...

Re: villages (3 huts variations)

Well, a blur effect shouldn't make white lines, just be some transparent black or some other dark color quite transparent pixels. What software are you using? If it's not the case i suggest you to use the Gimp (free). (I was searching some tutorial but can't find the link i was aiming at... maybe ed...

Re: villages (3 huts variations)

What Turuk said or the complete opposite (darker windows) would do the trick imo. For the door wall, i'm not sure to understand completely, the side where the door is, seems more flat than the rest which is a circle... i don't know if what i'm saying is intelligible...? For the straw on the roof, it...

Re: Dragon sprite

Awesome cool! This is really great, why didn't anybody talked about the fire drake??!! (the following is only personal though, even if it can match some other people comments, this is just a subjective opinion from someone not competent in the art of drawing sprites) Well, as TL pointed out, there s...

Re: Draugnatomy - portrait attempt

Hi, Well, first i'd like to say that i like your style a lot! Then, since i'm quite sure someone will beat me on this while i'm writing... :augh: , i'll make a point about something not raised by your questions : His/her/its right arm seems odd to me, maybe this has to do with the placement of the e...

Re: How to get art for a faction (no specific faction)

If i can make some surgery (quite old thread, but not old enough for necromancy...) If you can basically use the existing portraits, Or at least find, in some cases maybe not mainline style portraits but user portraits which are good enough, If you can, and in nearly all the cases will, use Wesnoth ...

Re: Can someone explain these battle calculations

Hi, While there was something about the chocobone, it doesn't appear anymore in the unit list (and i've seen some topics about "where can i find all the units? etc..." It was in default before, iirc, it' not in now, no more in httt... For the battle calculations, would be difficult too about time of...

Re: My Wose

Thespaceinvader beat me to it, I was going to point out a wose wielding a wooden club is a bit morbid on their parts. "Hey guys, Lenny fell the other day, I have dibs on that big top branch of his!" Or it could be some wose tribe habit, honoring the corpses of there dead with the sound they make ov...

Re: Ip banned?? :(

You should ask Noy on irc or on the lobby and ask him directly, this would be more rapid than if you wait that he finds your messagehere. For the irc you'll have all informations here : http://www.wesnoth.org/wiki/Support Bye. <off-topic>Chuck Norris fact: Noy can ban Chuck Norris! :lol2: </off-topic>

Re: Terrain tiling [First tree, first problems]

Hi, I think i'll give a try about those trees thespaceinvader talked about. I have not much time right now, so i planned to start next monday, but well, i wanted to make a pause about my homework so i gave a try. Beware! Bad drawing follows... The basic idea was to go with each tree in it's winter f...

Re: SVN Portraits directories

I'm sorry that the following is not totally in the subject, but and only if what was raised by thespaceinvader just before : But what I want to ask is whether there is some way of automating the process of changing over from one file structure to the other is correct, Then, maybe the terrain tiles d...

Re: Cart scenery sprite

Hi, I think you improved a lot the result since last time, As for apologize, about the shadow, there's different kind of shadows considering if it's a unit or an item, so i think it's not this important in fact... (in other terms i made you change it, whereas it was not a this big issue...) Just for...

If it was a pole i would tell with the top definitely.

But it's not a pole...

Whatever you choose to go with, the line work is really good so far, so good luck for the color part... :)
