Re: Terrain tiling [Dirt for a change]

Hi, Don't know exactly what you mean with Could this be solves by approaching the issue from a multi-hex standpoint, as per the mountains? nor Anything that uses the same style as the mountains would be fantastic, although probably asking too much... But maybe the basic idea is about the same. Since...

Re: fire dragon redo

Hi, Really nice dragon, just asking, The other dragon seems to have its wings in a resting position, while yours seem to have its wings extended, Making its wings in a similar position than the other would save place and maybe look more natural for a standing stance? As i said really nice, this is j...

Re: Terrain tiling [Dirt for a change]

Hi, I searched how to make the dirt transition to water look better, and how make the "triple" transition dirt/grass/water as pointed by turin look better too. As i said just above to JW, the main problem is that a transition should look well in the two cases A and B mentioned in the previous post (...

Re: Miscelanious ideas

Unless you really want to remove the topic, The issue with the dunes is that it needs drawings, but you knew that already... The big thing is that there is 4 sand terrain, and that the dunes must be different from the desert and from the mountain for the player to know this is a hill at first sight,...

Re: I Would Like Doors [Split]

So you want, want, want a door, ok, and what would i get for it? :D

No, seriously, i don't understand why you want a door since there is no walls so far... [edit, wooden walls?]

(and there are grids already in the mainline package...)

JW: Because orange becomes orange, yellow becomes yellow and green becomes green, it's to say if you draw the pink A part (i think this is what you want), you will have the pink B part... why.png I have an idea or at least a concept... :) but i'd like to know if it is possible to make a transition a...

Re: Draugnatomy - portrait attempt

Cennerous - I'm not sure I quite get your questions, I think the shape of the body armor is correct and the head in the right place, take a look at the 1st posing sketch w/out armor to see if it's just the placement of the armor. The breastplate comes rather far from the chest, and as always the vo...

Re: thespaceinvader's portraits - current, Dwarves

Better? Definitely! :D I think it has been suggested some posts before, but can't find it, while the lines on the axe looks like engraved lines, those on the shoulders aren't done the same way... Duplicating the layer, turning it to black and moving it from some pixels could help at that? Well that...

Re: Draugnatomy - portrait attempt

Hi, First, agree with Kestenvarn, Truly, that looks terrific. Or as my friend put it, "that qualifies as badass." But since you're at the lining part, can i raise a point about the head, Don't know if this is due to the helmet, or what causes that, but the head seems to go too far in front of him, i...

Re: Terrain tiling [Dirt for a change]

Hi, I'd imagine the reason dirt/grass doesn't look good next to water is that while most terrain and all units are at three-quarters angle, it is still stuck in the top-down view, so it looks very flat. I tried to put some "3D" in the mud transitions, maybe not as much as the ice transitions, but so...
