reinstall the game and stick to the default options in the installer (it looks like you've chosen that the userdata directory should be stored in the install/executable directory) and make sure you launch the game from the shortcut in the start menu...

run it once with --log-debug=all. the output is usually huge, but it's probably easier than trying out different log domains.

how big are your uncompressed save games? i would assume that the lag is caused by preprocessing your scenario (macros). if you load a save game it's already cached.
