It forces config checks to be rerun. Due to bug in scons 0.97 caching of config checks was broken. It's fixed in 0.98 and I've removed TargetSignatures() call that was triggering it so it shouldn't occur in 0.97 anymore too.

Was g++ pulled by libboost-iostreams-dev as dependency? SCons handles the absence of g++ very poorly, even causing spurious successes of boost checks(as I discovered by booting from Ubuntu liveCD)..risek123 wrote: I figured it out.
