Re: New Music - The Gathering Storm

It's good. I like it!! Things I'd change: 1 - The low frequencies are something like "hidden", I think a heavy sound would be better 2 - The instruments positioning are not much clear, for example: In the begin the cellos seems to be played in the center, I think to much diffusion. Anyway it's bette...

Re: A FOSS DAW for Windows, anyone?

I've found one from the KVR newsletter, It calls Rax'n'trax . I'll give a try right now, I just think I should post that here before. PS: Maybe I should open another topic because this one is unactive but I didn't find any rules about this so I think it's just better to have that information here. A...

Re: Free Orchestral Soundfonts

Tried now and the link works fine. Amazing sound, I just think that the trombones sample used has only 1 dynamic layer, I think a good way to make trombones sounding good is mix section trombones with quality solo trombones(I think uoi is great). Anyway it's just my opinion.

Re: Non-Wesnoth works

What do you think about this "orchestral sand-box". Just a test with edirol orchestral( I know outdated VST). I spent much time doing the midi tracks because I use a score editor and I do it like "point and click" system so... sometimes I lost the Ideas I was thinking about and.. the music becomes u...

Re: Traducao Portugues_Brasil - Discussao geral

Re: Traducao Portugues_Brasil - Discussao geral

Re: Creating free sf2

Hello folks! I think if you just want good samples you can find some here: http://www.philharmonia.co.uk/thesoundexchange/make_music/samples/library/ But samples are not just hard to record, they are also hard to mix, so you need a lot of experience to make good sf2 patches with those samples. An in...
