Re: Who is your favorite music composer(s)?

I really recomend you to do that :eng: Villa-Lobos is one of the most famous modern Guitar composers, people of whole world play his compositions. But I think we should give a special attention to the Wesnoth composers, they are great too

Re: Who is your favorite music composer(s)?

Actually, my favourite composers are not the composers that give me inspiration to compose Wesnoth-like songs. The composers I use to listen are Radamés Gnatalli , Villa-Lobos , Leo Brower and and some rock composers like Robert Fripp . I think Wesnoth music got the Hans Zimmer Way and most of Digit...

Re: Era not working-side can't recruit and trait broken.

Kapoue_II I think you should try convert to .ogg files, the files I gave to you are in the maximum quality of .wav I think It doesn't work in the game. If you have audacity: 1 - open all those tracks in Audacity 2 - Export multiple files( I think is this the name, I use a portuguese translation fro...

A good resource - DSK Overture

I know some will say, soundfonts are better than free vst plugins but that plugin is really fair good. I think it is a really good stuff to who wants to make music with free stuff. Cons: It needs a high CPU usage and It has only one channel output, what is really bad. Anyway, I did some demo songs t...

Re: New member - New pieces...

  , What an old stuff!! I never thought cubase's first version was for Atari. I really think you should learn to use a new DAW and most recent stuff. Just a detail, I have the same age of your tracks, I'm 18 old :lol2:

Re: New member - New pieces...

The music is interesting, nice textures, something like Philip Glass. I think the samples sounded outdated, though you did a nice job with them. I think you should take a look in the forum, there's lots of resources here that can be useful to you. Good Luck!

Re: Short piece

I would say you need some orchestration knowledge and Audio training as well. The composition is looking like something minimalist, I think it's not to much suitable in Wesnoth but anyway I'm not Lord of Music. It's a long way to do a good job, for example, the first piece I posted in Wesnoth forum ...

For any of my fellow film score types, here are some demos from a practice series I'm working on - http://vimeo.com/blakeewing/videos (more complete set here) or http://youtube.com/user/filmscoringpractice Interesting, very good job. Very professional as well, why not compose something to wesnoth? ...

Re: Short piece

If you are entending to do music for Wesnoth maybe you got the wrong path. About the music I think it don't tell much, I'm wondering if you have some training in music or just pick up the software and started to make songs.
