Re: Scenario 15: Mountain Pass

I got through it, replay attached. It seems the zombie Lua menu isn't replay safe, but I think I recruited wolf-riders every time. This was spaced over a few days, so I forgot what I was doing a couple times, almost lost my lizard. If the AI leader to the north hadn't come out to attack, I wouldn't ...

Re: 1.14/1.15 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising

I'm getting a segfault in the first scenario (or at the beginning of the second) of the prologue. It happens right after Councilman Shaema says "Save your breath, foul agent", and the screen goes dark. I can briefly see some kind of loading screen before the crash. The game also appears t...

Re: Standing and idle animations?

Hello, my first standing animation in a while. Is this any good? If not, can someone tell me what can be improved upon? soldier_bob.gif I should preface this by saying I'm not a big fan of these bobbing animations. In this case, the good part is that it's not pure cut & slide. However the movem...

Re: Scenario 15: Mountain Pass

Please would you post your start-of-scenario save? Looking at the WML, the difficulty on medium looks pretty similar to the difficulty on hard, and a player on medium won't have gained as much XP from the previous scenarios. The comment about starting gold also makes me assume the starting gold sho...

Re: Scenario 15: Mountain Pass

(1) What difficulty level and version of Wesnoth have you played the scenario on? Middle difficulty, 1.15.6 (2) How difficult did you find the scenario? (1-10) 10 (3) What did you think about the dialog and story? Was OK, I guess. (4) What were the major challenges you faced? Not getting buried in g...

Re: LordBob's random stuff : Nagas and more

The sailor isn't a bad start, but the layers need to mesh together a bit more, like how the green sleeve of his right arm is shadowed. It sometimes helps to draw a quick & dirty background scene. There are some details missing, LordBob probably didn't mean for the sketch to be a completed linewo...

Re: Reworking/Revising The Sceptre of Fire

This definitely needs more work before it can move to stable! Yeah, but there's time for that, and changes wouldn't get tested if they weren't in the dev version. - on easy: the orcs actually beat the elves and Bar'Gathor was lucky and survived. This made the scenario unwinnable - I had to debug th...

Re: Wesnoth Fauna

Out of all of the suggestions I would to see the sea wyrm and scarab beetle. This just because the scarab would fit in the dunefolk universe and the sea wyrm could be populated in the unexplored southern parts of Irdya. I'm not really feeling the Seawyrm - it's a nice sprite, but looks like it's fr...

Re: LordBob's random stuff : Nagas and more

Nope, also one of mine if memory serves right (all generic orcs that I know of are), unless it was altered later and the version sitting on my hard drive isn't the one we ship with the game. Depends what you consider a collaboration, I guess, but it's at least close. https://forums.wesnoth.org/view...

Re: 1.14 SP Campaign: Trinity

Sorry to report again, in the An Encounter scenario I noticed that in the order for you to win is to eliminate all of the side 3 (not only the elvish avenger). And then kill the elvish captain in the west. Can you make the scenario to not have to kill all of the side 3 and only the elvish avenger? ...

Re: LordBob's random stuff : Nagas and more

Has there ever been an attempt in sketching and coloring/shading done by different people? portraits/orcs/grunt-2.png was a collaboration, I think. Such collaborations can be great but it usually doesn't work in this situation; pay is small or nonexistent, deadlines are relatively soft. If two arti...

Re: 1.14/1.15 SP Campaign - Bad Moon Rising

Thanks a lot, I confirm that it works properly now, but is there a way to totally reset the terrain defense ? 2 of my units with the Crested helmet lost 6 points that don't seem to recover Thanks for confirming. Can you post a save-file? I can probably fix that file, even if I can't upload a genera...

Re: LordBob's random stuff : Nagas and more

The duelists look nice. Orcs, dragons, etc. surely don't stop fighting at first blood, so the scars aren't a problem. The weapons also look fine; they keep the flavor well enough, without looking out of place. Possibly the level 1's sword could be a bit lighter, the cross-guard at least. Ophydian, t...
