As in ravanna said in the post after yours, it is possible to get all the advatages of lua without requireing download, both of the addons that i maintain or wrote ('Pick your recruits' and 'World conquest II') do that in some way, in fact the sample erromessage above was from a 'nodownload' code. ...

Meaning: when you change your wml code you have to press F5 then restart your scenario from the start etc, to have an effect. It is supposed to not work, you need the call the original wesnoth.game_events.on_mouse_action(), otherwise it should eat all clicks and disable attacking for example. Well maybe you are right.. when i was reading on it I couldnt make it work at all.. only worked after some 10s of tries of differen...
