Re: minotaur art suggestion/comments wanted

The axe head should be pointing to the ground instead of upwards, it would take too much effort to hold it that way fighting gravity.

Re: Skeletal Pirate Art Hoard (ARR!)

Hey guys, has anyone asked about creating a campaign with these totally sweet sprites? I'd love to try my hand at it. I looked at the thread, but couldn't find any other offers of campaign-creation. Or is it too soon to ask about this? Yeah, nobody did ask yet, IIRC , but i think someone would pick...

Re: Zero's art. Stuff and fluff.

I think the second one should be reared up, but still landbound. Kinda praying mantis shaped.

Re: Zero's art. Steelhive on hold now.

Eh, you double-posted.

His left leg's upper/outer plate (the one nearer to us) should probably meet the plate under it instead of having a big gap in between.

Also, about the "Darknamed" unit, it kinda looks like it's flipping us off.

Re: Criticism Request

I'd suggest using yellow instead of black for the spines.

Re: The Era of Myths art project thread

The moon-blade is supposed to be butt-ugly. Its a vicious, malicious, ugly...iscious werewolf thinger that will sooner bite your head off than look at you. It isn't supposed to be lovable. He was talking about the sword. More specifically, probably the animation of it. On another note, no comments ...

Re: Art for Bad Moon Rising, again : Daemon Girl

So she's part of the Purple Primeval Pack (PPP)? :P For shizzle. I picked the colour off another portrait, but maybe it was too saturated. Don't worry about it, i was just riffing off on the mask. It just superficially reminded me of another group whose name forms an acronym of one consonant three ...

Her hands seem exceedingly small and that sword kinda looks like it's break off at the hilt if she hit anything with it. I actually kinda like the mask though.

Re: Zero's art. Steelhive on hold now.

wow. my music teacher would ride this to school if it ever came out on the market. it looks like a dwarvish meca to me, if you de-musicafy it. also, gold is an impracticle metal for any kind of spaceship or weapon or anything, because it's too darn soft and expensive. i suppose white gold would wor...

Re: Loyalist Portrait Series

While i really like the helmet the lancer is wearing, it seems like his head is just a bit too high. It suggests that this fellow has a remarkably long neck. I think if your shorten the helmet under the face by about the length of that clasp there it should dispel that impression. Ooh, i really like...

Re: Don't Forget Walking Corpse Variations

Goblin variants have 13 and 23 hitpoints for the wc/sl. This is a similar fraction to other races being zombified. I don't really give a crap about the particular values I chose, the balance folks can of course feel free to change at will. Hmm, that would give them less health than bat zombies whic...

Re: Scenario Review: DiD 12 - Endless Night

I really enjoyed this campaign. It went around the main problem i experience in campaigns, which is becoming attached to all my starting troops and raeging when they die. Gotta love nameless undead mooks. I did get attached to the 3 ghouls you get in the second scenario (named them Larry, Joe and Cu...

It would be much, much simpler to just let drake WCs fly than to remove flight from the others. And the only real barrier to doing so is the art, which i will be taking on myself at some point in the future.

Re: Walking corpses changes

You'll now have a drake zombie stuck floating over the middle of a chasm. Not a issue, with my experience on a campaign map where a wall barrier suddenly appears, you can still move off of it, at least if it's no more then 2 tiles wide. This would almost never come up, and if it was a issue, you co...
