THoT: Masked Dwarfs do not stay masked

I'm afraid I don't have time to answer all the questions asked here, but I would like to call your attention to a bug present in this scenario and possibly future scenarios in this campaign. The masked dwarves do not always stay masked. There is something wrong with how they are animated. At rest, t...

Re: Wesnoth Live Band - What can you play and record?

Just a little clarification: what is the goal of this project exactly? Is the idea to give the Music Contributors a talent pool to dip from when their piece need that extra bit of oomph, or to assemble an entire band in which each member records their part which is then mixed with the other parts to...

Re: Portrait sketches

I really get the impression that the two work well together, that they know what each other are thinking. Excellent job. I still remember your first and second attempts at this unit portrait, and this beats the pants off both of them.

Or he can just download ReBirth ... :) ...which does not work with Mac OS X and will probably become unstable as Microsoft continues to release new OS's. Meanwhile, the x0xb0x will work as long as MIDI remains the standard for computer-based music creation and composition. Plus, with the software, ...

If you've got some money to spare, don't mind being put on a waiting list, and are handy with a soldering iron, I think I have found just what you are looking for.

The x0xb0x ("zocks box"): a Roland TB-303 clone.

Re: Attack Animation help needed for The War of Terrador

Much better, but you really don't need the projectile. Most, if not all, units in mainline and UMCs that use ranged weapons that do not stay attached to the unit in question use a separate frame of the projectile that is simply animated right on top of the unit and moved toward the target unit. This...

D_i_u meant to say that you won't be able to play online multiplayer on the official server =) Just to clarify, when you connect to the server, it checks your software and compares it to an official copy. If the engine differs in any way from the official version, you will be booted off. If you wan...

Re: GarageBand

Can you make decent music with loops? Sure. Like this I made: Battle Cry . ( CC-BY-3.0 or GPL 3.0 — you choose) Download the original GarageBand file (probably requires Symphony Jam Pack). Wow! If it doesn't get committed, may I use it for a user-made campaign I'm working on? Yes, I know yo...

Re: The Hammer of Thursagan portrait repaints(update4)

Now that is a crest! Great job! Looks like I'll have to play tHoT again. Never got around to finishing it the first time. As to the rest of the portrait, it looks great. The shield looks thick to me, but it could just be me.

Re: Wesnoth Live Band - What can you play and record?

1. What instruments can you play and record at good quality? Horn , mellophone , and trumpet if I can find one to borrow. To be honest, however, it has been a while since I've played the horn or trumpet, so I'd need a couple days to review. Since I live on a college campus with a music program, I c...

Re: The new Wesnoth logo and the Loyalist sigil

I'm sorry for derailing this topic into Just Chat , but I do have a serious question. I'm trying to create a procedural leather texture for the dark area of the shield in the logo. I didn't want to bias people's perception be telling what they are supposed to be, but everyone seeing them as leather ...

Re: Wesnoth music and the future

If I might add something here, I think part of the reason we don't have nearly as many music contributors as we do art or code contributors is a matter of cost. Code Contributor Minimal Tools Code editing and compiling program. Cost: free. Apple and Microsoft offer their customers free developer's t...

Re: Outlaws!

The primary differences are the single edge on the blade, and the fact that it's asymmetric - these makes the one in your image look exactly like a kitchen knife, and not really like a stabbing dagger or a throwing knife. Making it symmetrical/double bladed, and perhaps giving it a slightly larger ...
