I got something done, but I am not quite sure what it is. I think I may have butchered the WML for the Shard Protector, and I know there are a few units that do not have the appropriate health points.

Where should I go from here?

Big difference between Dragonchampion and Tom of Wesnoth: Dragonchampion seems to be a little better at learning. I don't think Tom ever even attempted to learn WML.

Some of the senarios call up specific tunes rather than select a music file at random. You will have to go into each senario .cfg file and modify them to play the music you want. I told you this was not recommended for anyone. It can be done, but will most likely invoke feelings of frustration, espe...

Mac OS 10.4.10, with Ubuntu on a Parallels Virtual PC. I play Wesnoth on the Mac and often question why I even have Ubuntu.

I leave you with an inspirational quote by Douglas Adams: "The Mac may only have 10% of the market, but it clearly has the top 10%."

- I'm not sure how many songs there are, but it seems like one of them only play when I'm in a game. Just gets kinda repetitive. Is there a way to make the game play a custom rotation of outside songs? My favorite way is to run Wesnoth in windowed mode, disable music in the Preferences pane, and ru...

I'm only a college student. I can barely afford a trip around my own country, let alone outside it.

By the way, what language do they speak in Belgium?

Of course, if you sort it by time, what happens when you have two or more senarios that take place at more or less the same time? Or, what if you have two usermade senarios that not only take place at the same time, but also offer completely different Wesnoth histories? For instance, I have heard th...

The Dwarves already have a mounted unit: the Gryphon Rider. While the only weapon available to the rider is the gryphon itself, it is still a highly effective unit for two reasons: 1. 50% Defense in all terrains except mountains, which are 60%. Nice, even, easy to remember numbers. No need to rememb...

Sorry, not likely. Members of this board, especially the developers, often stick with the KISS method of doing things. No, not the band; the acronym Keep It Simple, Stupid. If it cannot be done easily and reliably, it is not worth doing to Wesnoth.

Because most, if not all, of the Frankenpacks have a transparent background, you can also use the rectangular select found in the upper left hand side of the toolbar.

Select the image part you want, copy it, and paste it into your own creation. Position to fit. Lather, rinse, and repeat as necessary. Take two aspirin and call me in the morning.
