Oh, but *this time* I was really just going through the .cfg files, noticing this exception. Could have been a forgotten .cfg, that's why I asked for clearity :P

Re: Suggestion: Initiative system

Sounds like it could be done via WML. Look: 1. You have unlimited turns in Wesnoth. My recent test allowed me to make some 75k turns in a single game, no problem at all. 2. Let each unit move in its own turn. 3. Choose next unit to move according to your initiative rules. Of course you would want to...

Re: [Request] Simultaneous turns

There is an issue with allied-side simultaneous moves: a side can be on multiple teams. Consider the situation where there are 3 sides and team A consists of sides 1 and 2, team B of sides 2 and 3, team C of 3 and 1. Normalizes into two sides taking turns. This is what Wesnoth MP should have been f...

Re: Suggestion: Chess Clock

Summary: 1. Make timer settings fully accessible (read/write) via WML. 2. Allow the scenario creator to provide default settings to choose from (and now the fancy part: ) in the "create game" dialog! Needs a pregame event. Looks like it could be easily done. 3. Let the user save the last t...

Nice project. Now prepare for feedback, grrr-style: 1. No login. For simple voting, cookies are more than enough. Cheating can be countered in others ways, but most of all - the Wesnoth community is build on trust, your project should be, too. 2. Allow (anon) comments. Yes, needs a captcha. Use this...

Re: Wesnoth's Competitive Gaming Add-on (1.8.2)

I got it ! it was right in front of our noses from the beginning: "save=no" actually works since it is NOT a game saving that happens, it is a REPLAY saving. Replay saving is controlled by the option "Save Replay on SP/MP Victory or MP Defeat" in the PREFERENCES. Unchek the box ...

Re: Wesnoth's Competitive Gaming Add-on (1.8.2)

Hm, interesting. I thought I would only have to put persistent=1 into the first scenario, not into the second one, too. Seems to work, so thanks!

Re: The Modern Multiplayer Map Reader's Digest

Silverhead Crossing has no pre-flagged village for P2, is that intentional?

Wesnoth's Competitive Gaming Add-on (1.8.6)

What is this A new add-on has been born, made specifically for ladder players. At its core it's the old Random Default Map Add-on that you perhaps know from 1.6 times. But this time, it'll also contain the map updates and - get this - new maps without having to wait for the next official Wesnoth re...

Re: Please update 3p-Survival for 1.8

gold=100 -> now 75 village_gold=3 -> now 2 experience_modifier=70% -> now 50% yeah, I also noticed that but somehow wesnoth does not allow me to update that add-on. It is probably a copy and paste bug: both maps needed to move to pango markup, and now 3PS has the same settings as 2vs2.

A fun 2v2 on loris river. Strange leader, too much fish and a lot of horse power (of course!) Rigor (in blue) and chose his favourite leader: http://forums.wesnoth.org/download/file.php?id=40164&mode=view AND OWNED! I focused on a mobile army, and at some point decided to sneak the 7th cavalry r...
