Here's a game I just had with reloc, that might be interesting to watch.

I just had a look at the first replay and wondered about one thing:
Do you want to show that there's a player one advantage (however, the replay doesn't look much like you wanted to) or that a archer spamming northener fighting drakes at day will lose?

If he keeps his units attacking, they will be badly wounded when the night falls, thus risking a disaster when orcs are starting their attack. His units will be alright if he uses augurs to block the poison effect. And even if he doesn't use augurs, you can only eliminate one drake per assassin. Bu...

Imho assassins die too easily vs Drakes, while their use of poison is rather limited because of the augurs. However, some people seem to use them nicely vs Drakes. Regarding Yogi's replay I think the grunts were more important than the assassins. (some people recruit hardly grunts vs Drakes; they ar...

Here's a old 1.2.x replay of mine. Cackfiend chose Drakes, I went random and got Northeners.
We both didn't play ideal, but maybe it helps you anyway.

I'm posting this replay on request by some observers that pretended this game was interesting.
Basically it's about reloc using my various mistakes, resulting in a quite offensive game.

PS: The game was OOS once, so I hope this replay is working for everyone as it is for me.

I didn't knew that, but it's always nice for me to learn new things about myself. :)

Beholder: As you already might have noticed during this discussion, you can't prove a imbalance by arguing for some overpowered faction/strategy in theory. However, it seems you are still trying to do so. You have to actually prove your theory on the battlefield, but looking at our game I can't see ...

Reading the posts of Noy I'm somewhat shocked about how people can take things overly serious. Although I never cared much for the background of Hodor, I fail to understand that there is a problem letting other poeple have fun with such a joke. I play Hodor matches myself just because fighting with ...

WTF is HODOR?!? All forms of Hodor are allowed, be it Strict Hodorism (Only outlaws, all dialogue from the Hodor player must be "Hodor," all units must be renamed "Hodor."), Casual Hodorism (Only outlaws, any sort of dialogue allowed, units may keep their names.), King Hodor Thunderdome Hodorism (o...

I searched through my archives of replays for my Hodor matches to contribute here. Unfortunately the 1.3.x ones weren't compatible with 1.3.6. Thus all replays attached to this post are for 1.2.x. I started playing a Strict Hodorism (but due to my ignorance of the rules named my leader "Leader of Ho...

I think more accurate attack and 10% increase with dodging would make a difference. Yes, it would. It would change a quite nicely balanced unit into a insanely overpowered one. Woses are already very powerful (the level 1 unit with the highest melee base damage iirc). If you use them well (don't ex...

I just downloaded the game and gave it a try. No problems with compiling and control.
However, sometime it got stuck during a battle repeatedly showing following messages at Konsole
npc turn
closest enemy: 2
get possible moves...
got 15 moves
moving to within 2

Here's a replay of a game with me vs Pietro (both rebels) for 1.3.3.

At last a final assault ends in a leader fight because pride is preferred to rationality :P
