Re: The Multiplayer Map Reader's Digest

Um...no. Say play 1 is loyal and 2 drakes, with loyal you can put the pressure of a horseman by turn 3, and drakes can do nothing to stop it because the only unit that will reach that village by then is the glider, good luck in the glider vs horseman. In spite I find pretty laughable Fosprey's samp...

Re: Tournament of Champions

Well, I still can serve as some cannon fodder ;) So sign me in (Pagan).

Also I would suggest 2 things:
1) Ask every potential participant to specify his timezone. mine is + 2 GMT
2) Keep your header post updated with list of people who has already signed up (and their timezones)

Re: lobby - header

From my point of view it would be very fine if link game-players was working in both directions, i.e. you had a possibility to navigate to the game where selected player is. I think looking for a game X where your friend Y is playing is the most common task in lobby (well, except chatting obviously).

Can only recommend not to use skirmishers massively. Only use 1 to catch undead forces when day is coming and they are running or do not use at all. Augurs are not so obvious. They are really good no counter poisoning, but you 1) need all the power you can get for day time kick, if you fight UD at n...

My five cents: depends on factions and map.

Try to attack playing Knalgan mirror on Hamlets and then keep defence in Undead vs Drakes duel...and feel the difference.

Re: Replays

FYI, Gallifax is actually a cyborg, created by Dave in early 2005. Hehe, it seems to be a good combination of genetic algorithms 'n' neural networks then  ... and does it mean that next TOC final will be Gallifax v.2.0.17 vs Gallifax v.1.8.9we? ;) Galli has really spammed this thread with nice...

Deadline is coming...

Hi,

2 Taurus:

If we want to finish our match in time we should play at least 1 game (better 2) next morning ( 6th June). I will wait for you in 5.00 GMT. If you aren't able to come we will loose the last chance to finish it via normal way.
