Another thing the makes me wonder is the speed by which the client rejected my access attempts to the MP server yesterday. Might it be that some info is written clientside in case server rejected access from user with certain credentials (pw & username) so that new access attemps are rejected clien...

The Armageddon Drake, Dwarvish Arcanister, and Orcish Nightblade are actually intentionally designed so that they are opt-in advancements that campaign authors can enable in the configuration.

It depends whether you play multiplayer it not. in single player, add-ons you have already installed don't suddenly become infected so it's really a problem as long as you don't install new add-ons.
Or load save files from untrusted sources.

Yes, but most of the strings shared with IftU (over half of the units, several UI strings) are in Naia now.
