Well, I made an Accuracy Era for 1.5.0-svn. It's probably horribly unbalanced, so, if you'd like, feel free to playtest it and complain at me. Only works in svn, of course.

As requested, I tried making some projectiles for the Therians' aura attacks. There's a little one for the shifters' and a big shiny one for the monks'.

Well, the wiki is incorrect on that point. I've personally made units whose attacks have multiple specials.doofus-01 wrote:The wiki says only one [specials] entry is supported, try removing the "{WEAPON_SPECIAL_MAGICAL}".

Well, randomly changing weather will not make it into mainline. That's pretty much a certainty. I just want the ability to do it graphically so that it could be used for UMC's, wherein one could, if obsessive compulsive, implement any or all of the above effects; think Dark Forecast on steroids.

Actually, debug mode includes an option to do exactly what you describe. Do :debug to turn on debug mode. Then do :fire youreventname to cause the given event to happen spontaneously. Of course, your event might require variables, etc. from previous events, in which case you'd have to manually fire ...

Related question: say I'd like to have a scenario happen during a rainstorm; is it possible for me to set some sort of cycling "rain" animation to play over the whole battlefield? If not, I think that might be a worthwhile addition; for example, there's a scenario in HttT in which it's sup...

Also, I just noticed: the Therian Apprentice and Mage sprites have capitalized names, and thus don't show up on Unix systems, where capitalization matters.

Blood Apprentice line, which I forgot. This is just a size fix: the Sangel was actually shorter than the Apprentice. No female forms for these -- unless they're really desired.

Dave: I'm not sure I'd call myself experienced, but I'm at the very least capable of UnitWML, and I'd be willing to help you out with this. Balancing for "accuracy" will give the math imps in my brain something to do

Set the other sides as "local player." Then you (the host) will be in control of them, as though it were a hotseat-style game. If you then want to pass some off to your friend, just use :control side# name.
