Re: Abusive spamming

Ok, friends list and ignore list seem to be mutually exclusive. Thanks.

Re: 1.12.5 Simultaneous Disconnect/Crash to Desktop

I have also seen this crash recently, and even crashes in multiplayer where no error message appears. I have never had this problem before 1.12. Hasn't happened that much during this week.

Re: Android 1.12 support thread

Alep, I have been using your port for over a year now since I bought an HTC Desire running KitKat (4.4.2). It works quite well and I hadn't noticed any significant issues until yesterday. Here is a way to reproduce it: 1. Create a multiplayer game using the mobile client. 2. Join the game as an obse...

Abusive spamming

Hi, this is a request for a new feature to mitigate spamming in game. Can <20 lines of code be added to the server chat to provide automated mute conditions for duplicate or similar messages? This could prevent abusive behavior. There already exists a mute command for observers, but as you may know,...

Re: [POLL] Removing planning mode

Planning mode created some mutual accountability among players who may experience a language barrier. I find planning mode was useful before it caused issues with oos. Although I don't have a formal bug report, I suspect the whiteboard might be the root cause of some connectivity problems and runtim...

Re: Balance of the game

A lot of scouts have weaknesses across factions. For example, if you're playing a ladder match on Caves of the Basilisk, gryphons have increased movement cost on mushroom groves. Ghosts have increased movement cost on water. But water is a pretty common land feature. In a lot of maps I see landscape...

Re: Balance of the game

Soooo was anything done about this or? I would like to see the ladder people change the unit stats to their needs and gather more statistics. Then we can talk about changing the default era. Most likely they are the most profound mp balancers out there right now. Changing unit stats isn't that hard...

Re: Girl unDead

I realize this is a moot point by now, but in response to the question of what "シュー業" would translate to, I would say it's discipline. Just my two cents on the word most synonymous to both hard training and asceticism.

Re: Wesnoth 1.13.4

Terrain is a good example of the importance of add-ons, so how can one compile a set of eras into one era (like Ageless) and port it to 1.13.4? It seems like the terrain is encoded in a set of letters based on your post about this developmental release. In the same way that you and I have access to ...

Re: Era of Magic (EoMa) 1.1.1 released!

Screen cap from a Colosseum game today with Ageless RPG Era.

Apparently the Mystic Jinn uses a dimensional vortex which occupies every other hex than the defender's hex.

Re: The Era of Myths 5.15.0

I know many Wesnoth players are not familiar with this era, however I will be monitoring this thread. Having no prior obligations to any World Conquest games, I will be hosting and joining scenarios with Ageless Era. This week I will be testing Era of Myths and Era of Magic.

Re: Walking Corpse Mounted Corrupted File

Thanks, zookeeper. I downloaded it by mistake. I don't know how to uninstall an add on. It would be convenient if this could be done from the same screen as the add on repository on the server. I thought there was an uninstall button, but I don't see it there.

Walking Corpse Mounted Corrupted File

Hi, I'm using Wesnoth 1.12.5 on Windows 10 in English. I recently raised a corpse from a mounted unit (Cavalryman). I'm familiar with the mounted walking corpse unit, though I wanted to see if the artwork had changed. I tried to access the unit description but to no avail. Walking Corpse's descripti...

Re: Getting Started

Hi, I have been registered user on the Wesnoth server for nine years. Though I do not have a desktop installation, I still play on mobile and I can test the mobile version. I can use Mac and PC versions of Wesnoth occasionally, and I am also a novice in Lua and C++. I don't plan to be a custodian of...
